Pandora is amazing. My wife and I did the Passholder preview last night. Our window was from 6pm to 8pm. We arrived at the park at 2pm and there was a long line of passholders to get in. I asked a CM what time we should get in line for our 6pm window. He said that they are trying to get people in one hour before their window. We got in line at 4:30pm (and at that time there were only about 20 people ahead of us) and they let us in just after 5pm. They did not give us a paper ticket for FoP. I don't know if they stopped doing this or if it didn't matter for us because we were the last group of the day. People in earlier windows could stay as long as they wanted in the land, just not do any rides past their time. But as the land closed at 8pm I figure it didn't matter for us, so we could do FoP as many times as we wanted. The posted wait time for FoP when we arrived was 60 minutes, but it was more like 20 minutes and most of that was people walking slowly through the incredible waiting area. The second time we rode FoP the wait was significantly longer. It also said 60 minutes and it took almost that long. We could also do NRJ twice and had dinner at the restaurant. At 8pm everything shut down. People were hanging out waiting for the lights, but only a few plants lit up. There are a lot of blacklights on the paths, pointing down at the ground and that looked neat. I can't wait to go back to see the whole land lit up at night.

What's your opinion of the two rides?

So we were in the club level this morning at AKL getting breakfast. I turned towards the coffee machine and was staring right at Joe Rohde!!!!

We talked with him for about 20 minutes about Pandora. It was incredible! He is just such a regular dude, bit so passionate about his work.

And as I type this, Jon Landau is sitting a few tables away on his phone. This trip has been short but so surreal.

That's amazing! How perfect to get to experience the new land AND get to meet him. Your review posts have been fantastic :) Enjoy the rest of your trip!

Isn't it? It's certainly in the top 3 in and around Orlando.

It really is. Incredible attraction.

River Journey was beautiful. I enjoyed it. I thought the length was just fine, it was enough for that type of ride. I guess 4 minutes would have been better I suppose but it was fine. I thought the screens were mostly well integrated. It was immersive. The Shaman animatronic was incredible. I can understand some saying it's short or even boring. I didn't find it to be either but I do understand how some will come away feeling that way. I'm torn on needing narration. The scenery was enough to keep me focused but I can also see that being a complaint. A little surprised at only two rows for the boats. What's capacity on this thing? They couldn't do four rows?

Overall though the entire land was great. The theming is top notch. And holy wow, the queues for both rides are fantastic and LONG. I'd really hate waiting in them LOL. Very very very long.

The Canteen had great food. Real plates and silverware! That was nice.

I didn't find the land that small but again I can see some thinking so. As beautiful as it was, I could only walk around so much before realizing I'd seen the same area a few times before. But there's a lot to see. The background sounds are great.

Star Wars Land should be incredible. This was such a well done land. Very impressed. I can't say enough good things about it.
