Can you say how many contenders there might be?? MarieI'd be surprised if it isn't. Poppins has been mentioned (naturally) but I don't believe it's a front runner.

Plus the gondolas will draw your eye anyway.
Not in public
I hope they won't be that high. Certainly not until they cross LBV drive. When the gondolas were initially announced on the various discussion boards, my initial concern was how the skyline would be affected around World Showcase Lagoon and the neighboring resorts. I just imagine the gondolas towering overhead, poorly fitting the landscape.
IF they go with the one I hope they do it would be a great fit IMHO. Everything I've said about EPCOT Center and IP taken into consideration.Personally, do you think this attraction will be a good fit in the UK pavilion? Should we be for it or against it?

Nothing else I should say at this time. Again. Sorry!Would it be an IP unique to the Walt Disney World resort, @marni1971 , not represented elsewhere on property?
Just resurrect the 1982 plan.Would be cool to get a big stage show (with live actors) at EPCOT as the UK has always had theater as part of it's rich history. Build a replica of the facade of one of the many famous theaters in the UK with a large, modern theater inside (not unlike the Hyperion at DCA) than offer a theme park/abbreviated version of Broadway's Marry Poppins.
Here are the UK IPs being used at WDW at this time (if anyone finds any others, let me know and I'll update the list):
Here are the UK Disney IPs not currently being used at WDW:
- Mary Poppins (DHS, is a character at Epcot & MK)
- Peter Pan (MK & Epcot- topiary)
- Alice in Wonderland (MK & Epcot- is she still there?)
- Winnie the Pooh (MK & Epcot)
- The Sword in the Stone (MK)
- Brave (MK)
Toss up:
- Bedknobs and Broomsticks
- Robin Hood (while I have many pictures of me and my sister with characters in the 90s, it looks like they've gone the way of the dodo)
- Narnia
- 101 Dalmatians (used to be at MGM)
- Valiant (doubtful that it will make an appearance)
- The BFG
- The Great Mouse Detective
- The Black Cauldron
- Candleshoe
- Darby O'Gill and the Little People (starring Sean Connery!)
- Mr. Toad (shows up in cameo spots in Pooh and Haunted Mansion)
- Pirates of the Caribbean 4 (MK)
Great Mouse Detective LPS E-Ticket confirmed. Here are the UK Disney IPs not currently being used at WDW:
- The Great Mouse Detective

Elizabethan theatre or Victorian music hall?Just resurrect the 1982 plan.
#SynergyRight next to the other rodent themed attraction
Original plan was vaudeville music hall in a Crystal Palace type building.Elizabethan theatre or Victorian music hall?
That would be cool.... dinner theatre. Entertainment while you eat! Other than Germany, nothing currently like this in Epcot...Original plan was vaudeville music hall in a Crystal Palace type building.
