It would be nice if they could get Di... ahem, the "actor who played Bert"... to attend the opening ceremonies for the new attraction, wouldn't it?

This is how I feel about the Epcot spine/CC project. Hoping the silence will lead to a more simple refresh vs considering demolition.

All it needs is a simple refresh. I'd love a bit more elaborate greenery and water features in some spots, I like some of the ideas in the 'blue sky spine art' but they don't need to demo everything ... lol

I liked the idea of a non-IP ride, perhaps based on Arthurian legend instead. But I guess Mary Poppins will do in a pinch, especially since parents of young children often complain of the shortage of child-friendly rides in Epcot. Honestly, they need to do something about the lack of rides in World Showcase in particular. Throw in at least 1 more dark/boat ride for the family and a lightly-themed coaster to keep the teens happy.
