It's a buyer's market down there right now, but I don't know how the job situation is.

Well I wish you luck with your job, move and adoption. It's hard to make plans with the markets like they are, but it's got to get better sometime. Right?

Thanks for the support. From the research we have done, the job market is not too bad for Florida, especially for the field that George is in, he has posted 7 applications this week alone. I am flexible as to what can I work I want, I have a degree in Business Administration and have been a paralegal for almost 20 years. Just where we are at, I have been jumping from job to job because I can't get permenant positions, just temps and terms, which is getting frustrating. This next round of lay offs is going to hurt us bad, but we will muddle through.
As for house the good thing is our market is very strong and if we sell and buy at the right time we should be able to get a great house at a great price.

awww - just read this Jo. Hope you feel better soon. If it makes you feel any better, my foot did not enjoy riding in the car for 22 hours, so I've been nursing that ever since we got here. We might have to do the wheelchair route if this doesn't improve soon.
