Well this the cat update.
We went to the vet this morning he said "Wow she's really old!" Naw, really she is 18 afterall....:lol: He did her exam and said that she seems to be ok, but they did some blood work and say there is a chance she has either diabietes or a thyroid issue because she lost so much weight so fast. Apparently both can be treated very easily by just putting some sab on her ears, which was odd but whatever works I guess...:shrug:

Thank you everyone for keeping my friend in your thoughts and prayers. It's been a rough week. I wish I could take all of her pain away... It's just so sad...

Just stopping in to say "Hola!" Hope everyone had a good weekend.
The heat was like a sauna here this weekend, but I love the hot weather so I was probably the only person it didn't bother.
Not much going on here, finally put all my suitcases/ bags away again. Luckily I won't need them again for almost 4 weeks.

Prayers needed forJessand family..their house caught fire last night and they lost almost everything!..
I am waiting to get info on where to send donations...I know they need clothes for the girls and I guess everything!..
Lizzy is in 5/5t and Maddy is in a 2t...waiting to hear about anything else!

The vet finally called today about my cat. He said that one kidney is at 100% functionality and the other at about 60% which he says as long as that one stays at 100% she'll have no problems. He said that I did need to get a few of her teeth pulled because they were starting to go bad which he said is completley normal for her being 18, but he said with that one bad kidney that will cause her teeth to go bad even quicker so I need to get it taken care ASAP. He also said that with that one kidney not at 100% functionality it has messed up her stomach lining which would explain her vomiting issues so he said there is a supplement to coat the stomach like a lining would that should combat the vomiting issue. So it was all good news, I had been worried about it I was afraid it'd be bad news saying something was worse with the kidney's. It was all easy fixes except for the teeth...:dazzle:
