I am officially back among the throng of car drivers on Nashville roads! It feels so good to be independent again...I never realized how much I loved driving...odd as that sounds.

We're knee deep in rehearsals for the world premier play I'm working on at the moment and I couldnt' be more excited with the progress we're making! This is going to be a very smart, funny, and surprising show!

I have to take my really old cat to the vet, I came back from California and she was drooling and just not being herself. I hope the vet doesn't say it's time to put her down because I'm just not ready yet.

Why can't I be rich? I could then pay someone to do the home repairs. I am so tired of mudding and sanding the walls. My house is covered in chalk dust, my dogs hate me, and I have one more coat to go before I can start painting.
The good news is we may have a child in a few weeks. Trying to get his room ready.
Hope you are all doing fantastic.

Surely the dog doesn't really hate you!!! :)

I know how you feel, I ask myself about 4:00 every morning while lying awake, "Why can't I just win the lottery"? Maybe it's because I don't play.

I saw a magazine article yesterday that said something like, "Over 50? Can't sleep? Stressed? Tired? Depressed?" Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. The only thing it forgot to mention was "Can't be seen in a bathing suit in public anymore?"

July 9 next year (50.25 weeks!)

It will pass so quickly.

Rachel and Jordan have been living in our basement waiting for that perfect apartment to come along, and saving their money since she quit working full time and went back to school to get her Masters. They're finally moving out next weekend. I told my husband she's not just leaving for college this time, she's leaving for good. Even though she'll only be a mile away, and still bring her laundry over.

Well, the boyfriend just bought a house this fall, so that won't be an issue. She really hasn't lived at home since she started college 7 years ago. She was home for the first 2 summers, but after that she worked on campus in a program for underprivaliged high-schoolers to prepare them for college. After she graduated she got a job about an hour and a half away, so she had to get an apartment up there. She's still my baby though, and she brought her laundry home 'til he bought the house that came with a waher and dryer!

((HUGS)) for Betty!

((HUGS)) I hope it's something minor! Keep us posted!

Ugh. You have my sympathy. I DESPISE drywall work, and would rather do just about any dreaded house chore than sand, spackle and painting over new drywall. Yick.

That's MY wedding anniversary too! It's a great date! :king:
