We are in Mobile, Alabama. 14 hours of driving. All went really well. But some person in Houston almost cause a major accident on the highway right in front of us. Crazy driver. Then we seen a trucker who wanted in one lane that was already being taken by a small truck. Another crazy driver. But we are good and the weather is good. The girls are being pretty good also. Hopefully will check back in later. We are going to Cracker Barrel for supper. :slurp:

I'm sorry I missed the chat. It looks like it was a lot of fun

Congrats on a great day Jo! :)

Thanks Nibbs!

Hi Christa! Yay for DL! I want to go so bad!

Me too! I've never been further west then PA

Oh, and by the way, Sprout II likes this chat. Kicks all over the place. :D

Awww!

We find out on the 21st. I'm getting SO nervous!

Yay!

You all are going to have to wait again.

Sorry!

Wasn't it fun and exciting though??? Finding out when it happened?:lookaroun

What?! Nooooooo!

So....who's seen Eclipse? :lookaroun

I have! I feel it's the best one so far

Twice! Loved Rob and Taylor's performances, and would really like to see Kristen have more than one facial expression as she delivers her lines...imo...

Exactly! She kept making the same faces.

The trailer for DH is the best freakin' thing I've ever SEEN....oh my goodness, I saw the poster with Hogwarts all burning and it was soooo depressing!

And I am beyond excited about seeing WWoHP!!! Although I've been following the day to day reports on another theme park site, and it looks like we'll be completely taking advantage of that early morning hour for hotel guests...there's still a 2-3 hour wait each morning for the general public just to get INTO that section of the park.

WWoHP is just amazing. It is worth the waiting (but I do recommend going either first thing, or at night).

I died when I saw the trailer. It's going to be un-freakin-believeable!

I will sit there in the theater and cry when part 2 is over. Can't believe the series is ending... :(

I can't wait! HP7 is going to be awsome. And I can't believe it's been over 10 years now

I want feathers, dang it!:lookaroun:lol:

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA:cry:

I just can't take any more. Today has been just a crazy day and I just can't take it.

My car is in the shop (again) and will cost a lot of money. Stupidly, I agreed to the work (they had to order a part), and 1 hour and a half later I decided to get a second opinion. The garage refused to return my money. Had to argue with them and they still insisted on an $80 restocking fee. I am now filing a complaint with the Attorney General's Office.
Nothing is going easy and now my dog decided to chew a hole in my favorite shorts. Does everything have to be a challenge? I did get a call for a job interview, but I think they have someone else in mind and feel like this is just a curteousy interview.
Are things going to improve? I know, there are a lot worse things and I should be greatful, but I am not taking it well right now.

Sorry to hear that things are not going well at all. Find strength in the fact that trials build patience, patience builds experience, and experience builds hope. Difficult times never last forever, regardless of their length, and in the end we are enriched by the lessons that they bring. It is hard to consider the fact that tomorrow's strength is often built upon today's challenges, but the truth remains that endurance beyond current problems will somehow enrich your future. Hang in there, because the trials will eventually yield to better days.

I'm sorry it's been so rough. Thinking about you for sure! And hoping things work out for the best.

I feel your pain my friend.

Since the Nashville floods the first of May it's been nothing but a downward spiral for us as well.

Our basement was flooded causing close to 45,000 dollars in damage. FEMA has been very little help so we're just sort of in this stupid hurry up and wait mode with them.

My wife's van needs a ton of work that we simply cannot afford to get done. So it's become a short distance vehicle.

My car just up and died three weeks ago and I've yet to be able to get it fixed. As such I've been reduced to bumming rides to work day and night which is just degrading.

Oh and my wife developed Shingles on top of everything else.

I'm so ready for some good news I'll take anything at this point so as I said...I feel your pain!

Thanks Rikki.

I hate spouting off the laundry list of garbage I'm m__________g through, but to be honest there isn't anyone outside of my family to rant about it with and sometimes a good b*tch session is just what the doctor ordered.

What stinks with my car is the fact that I can't afford to take it to a shop to get it fixed. It's an electrical problem. So my wife's cousin is going to do it. Which he is more than qualified to do since cars are his way of life. However he's done nothing but drag is feet and now the car is just sitting in my driveway waiting for the word from him that I can tow it to his garage to fix it! Which could take another week in and of itself!

So yes I'm a little more than frustrated...:veryconfu

Sorry for venting the other day and thank you all for the supportive words. I am happy to say I had a great interview and I think I impressed them (which is funny because I worked with them both for the last year). Most of the other candidates (those that I know of) are equally qualified and we all have worked with each other. I am the only one out of work because of how my contracted ended.
I'm sorry to hear about everyone elses trying times. I just sometimes need to be reminded that this too shall pass, that which doesn't kill me, makes me stronger, and all that other stuff. I just wish I wasn't "tried" so much.

Dan, I'm so sorry to hear you're having some rough times. Hopefully this job opportunity will pan out!

Can someone tell me the last time I made a blog post? I can't access it at work and my computer at home is down. I fear I haven't made a post in July yet!:(

Disneyland Pictures are up.:D
I wish I would have taken more, because it's so kitschy there and awesome but I didn't. Plus the time change really screwed me up ALOT more than I thought it would.
