Hey Guys..I just talked to Bonny..They FINALLY have a room.Right now she has not been able to keep anything down..she has been either throwing up and has gone through 12 diapers in a short amount of time.

They think she may have the Rotovirus..and they are doing tests for that.
Her blood sugar is low still but it is not critically low..so that is good.
They still are not sure why it is low and are doing some tests for that as well.

She has an IV in her foot and the Dr. is coming in soon and will probably order some fluids for her..she has not had any yet.

Bonny believes she will be there for a few days at leaset ..because she needs to keep her formula down before she can go home.

I have her room # and the hospital # and if you would like it I will give it to you.
The good thing is that they have a private room.

Bonny is not able to make many more cell phone calls..so if you want to call you need to call the hospital.
She said she will be up pretty late and I will be calling her sometime tonight and will get another update as well as in the morning.

She thanks everyone once again for all of the prayers and thoughts...

I talked to her right after I got off of work tonight and I am planning on making a trip down to the hospital tomorrow to visit. Like what was said earlier, I have the room number/phone number and if you want them, just send me a PM.

Thank goodness you're going to be with Bonny.
She'll need hugs, give her plenty.
And all of our love and support.

That's a great idea. I would go visit, but I have no way to get there. So I will call them instead. Make sure you give Bonny and MJ lots of *HUGS*.

Hey Everyone..
I just spoke to Bonny..MJ is not doing that great right now,Her blood sugar hs gotten very low..It was below 38 which is not good. They got it to 43 and they have now given her dextrose..which she really can not have because it is cornbased but..they need to do something.

They are waiting for the Gi to come and they will probably do an Upper GI scope to see what is going on..as of now they have no reason to why her levels are so low.

Mj did not sleep well at all and of course neither did Bonny.Andrew is at work and Bonny is alone and is having a hard time

She is very nervous about the Upper GI ..she is not good in those situations ..when they have to take the baby in to do these things.Right now they are just hoping she does not have any more seizures ..because it is getting close to that again.

She can use all the prayers she can get and has said to let everyone know how much she appreciates this and all the calls she has recieved.
Please continue to keep MJ and Family in your thoughts...she needs all she can get..

I will be updating again as soon as I hear anything.
Thanks once again...

Thought I had mentioned this...They are waiting for an endocrinologist to see MJ...Because of the levels and the fact that she is getting something cornbased..which because she is allergic could cause really bad seizures..We are hoping they dont.

I will be calling Bonny in about and hour and a half or so...I will let you know..if anything changes..

Alright I don't know what an endocrinologist is? Can someone answer this please.
Thought I'd look up the definition

physician who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the endocrine system

Is that what I've been going to for a couple of years? :hammer: Although my need for this specialist is not the same as MJ.

Thoughts are heading MJ's way.

Its a doctor who works on the glands that secrete the hormones that regulate the body's functions...right now MJ is having trouble keeping her blood sugar high enough (that is controlled by insulin that is secreted by the pancreas). They need to find out why her insulin is not working properly or if she is secreting any at all. All these glands and their hormones need to work together to keep the body healthy and right now, somewhere-somehow, they are not.
You rock! :)
