I'm with you, except I would say that it also needs a unique E-ticket.Hollywood Studios doesn't need Radiator Springs Racers. It needs an identity overhaul, refocus of the park, and a half dozen C-D tickets.

Because it hasn't been updated in 25 years. It has a painful script, major audio problems, major projector problems at the end, and major relevance problems throughout. How can you not include The Great Movie Ride? It's pretty much the main ride in the park themed to movies. Sure it could use an update but it definitely deserves to be on the list.

Since when does Epcot have four good rides
anymore?? Baha sorry it had to be said

Sure, just like anyone who doesn't worship them has no soul.
I still enjoy what's currently there right now, probably because I've always loved rides that are heavy with AA's. What would you suggest they do to improve the ride? New/updated scenes?No... No it doesn't. Great concept. Was awesome for its time. Tired and sad now.
Toy Story Mania has terrible capacity plus there's nothing else for kids to do in DHS. It's easily the most phoned in dark ride in Disney history. People give Uni grief for too many screens-In Order-
1. Tower of Terror
2. Star Tours
3. Rock N Rollercoaster
4. Toy Story Mania
People on here can find fault with the lower two, but no denying they have extreme popularity.
For the record, I would take those four rides over the four best rides at Epcot.

Put GMR where Toy Story is and you've got a good list

Ehh... I'd rank it below Great Movie Ride (especially if Disney ever gets around to giving it a refurb) and MuppetVision (a nice, relaxing show that's good for a few laughs). It's not totally awful and I appreciate it for providing young children with a second ride to do. But it's not worth more than a 20-30 minute wait IMO. I'd wait an hour for ToT, Star Tours and RnRC.No doubt the attraction is slightly over rated, but I also think it is fashionable on here to bash it and not see it for its merits.
My first qualification for an attraction is... Was it fun? TSM is a resounding yes. Cool concept. Good execution. Super entertaining. Last on the list of four best attractions in the park, but definitely on there in my opinion.
I've always thought the Omnidroid from The Incredibles would be a good theme for a spinner.Honestly why not just put in a crowd eating spinner or swing in Pixar--very cheap and will help crowds not be as angry for paying their admission price
Musical sequence - Snow White, Mary Poppins, Steamboat WillieI too love AA heavy dark rides. Who doesn't!
It is in drastic need of a complete overhaul. The bones are there, but it is a very 1989 view of "great" movies. More like "great movies we had license to show you in 1989." I love the genre idea and organization. Alien was a great movie, but most wouldn't consider it the best Represenative of the Genre. The early stuff is lost on most riders, but the biggest abomination is the pathetic ending.
Musical sequence - Snow White, Mary Poppins, Steamboat Willie
Gangster sequence - Roger Rabbit/Dick Tracy... or Disney works out a deal with Universal to include the Avengers, so yeah the first one!
Western sequence - Star Wars
Alien sequence - TRON
Adventure sequence - Indiana Jones (just some updates)
Tarzan sequence - Nightmare Before Christmas (POTC has enough stuff)
Casablanca sequence - Muppets (tribute to Great Muppet Movie Ride concept... Sweetums tries to join the ride, but the host drives off without him)
Wizard of Oz and Sorcerer's Apprentice sequences - they stay, but receive nice updates
Finale - Colorful, projection-based Disney musical with a full listing of Disney's filmography from 1937 to present day. The ending is updated every January to include that year's upcoming films.
No more gangster/cowboy takeover... just an overview of Disney's greatest films.
What a list. Man I don't think we should replace all of it! The gangster and western scenes are fine and properly represent that genre. Tron doesn't belong anywhere with the word "great" in it. Star Wars should absolutely be represented.
The finale needs to be more than a projection.

Alien sequence - TRON
Gangster and Western aren't really Disney though. Roger Rabbit or Marvel for gangster and maybe a Pixar scene for the Western. Neither say Disney to me.What a list.
