Let’s be real, we’re all pathetic for spending so much time in one day on this forum talking about Disneyland, masks, and how there is no freedom and liberty.

Honestly.
Without Annual Passes, what the hell else can we do besides b&*ch on a message board about Disneyland?

I was supposed to see Foo Fighters tomorrow night, but Covid F&*ked that up. At least I have reservations for Knott's & Soak City on Sunday.

I was fortunate enough to pick up a USH Platinum Pass, but I'm waiting until August for my 1st visit. It's a long drive from South O.C., so I don't plan on going as often as I do for Knott's, or Did for Disneyland. Having the Express will be a big help in making it possible to hit most or all of the rides each visit, and try to avoid traffic like I do at the O.C. parks.

And if I had freedom and liberty, I'd be allowed to bring a 6 pack and a couple of joints into Disneyland with me.

I let my DLR AP go in 2019. I haven't regretted it yet and probably never will.

I come here to waste time and discuss, but my life doesn't revolve around Disneyland or any other theme park for that matter. I'm not a big theme park fan, I just love Disneyland, and to an extent, USH. I'm focused now on saving my money (just got a new job after graduating with my second Master's in May) and traveling again.

If I had freedom and liberty, I wouldn't pay taxes nor rent.

When I went at the beginning of June the ride was working perfectly, except the ride stopped us right at the top of the lift before the main drop. We sat there for about 20 minutes, so I got a very long look at the new Dino haha.

In that time sitting at the top of the lift, my friends and I noticed on the right side (opposite the new dinosaur) looks like a control room with monitors and a person sitting at a computer. Does anyone know if that's a real person or animatronic? We debated and decided animatronic, but I'm still not sure. Wish I took a photo.

It depends on where it was. There is actually a control room in most large water rides or a spotting position to make sure people are not causing any trouble.

The main control room is near the loading dock. He means at the top of the lift hill near the drop there appears to be a secondary control room.

Yeah exactly. But after sitting there for 20min I'm almost 100% sure it is an animatronic sitting at a fake computer. Not many movements and repeating every few seconds for way too long. I think it's for added detail since most people will be looking the other way at the Dinosaur obviously.

I was just curious and couldn't find anything online.

Water rides often have another control room near large drops to monitor with direct eyesight so the bottom main one does not have to just look at CCTV.
