It’s just so close to Anaheim that I don’t change locations, even during Haunt. It’s nicer to just stay at one hotel for the entire trip.

I’m looking forward to taking my daughter on the new Camp Snoopy coaster when it opens. She loves Gadgets. Unfortunately she’s too short all the coasters at DLR and it might be a while until she hits 40 inches. She’s 3.5 but a little short n petite. Might not get there til she’s 5. Every time she sees Thunder Mountain she asks to go on it.
I saw a video of the Knotts hotel. The lobby and restaurant look nice.
I found a video of Knott's Bear-y Tales playhouse. When Bear-y tales was removed for Kingdom of the Dinosaurs, most of the Rolly Crump AAs ended up here as a walk through. It kind of looks like where Sidewinder is now. They had a glow wall where you left you image on the wall after a flash.

Very cool. Did not know they had live cams. Very quiet at the parks right now.
Just walked thru Camp Snoopy. The new coaster has track. They are building a new station. The camp train has been repainted green & yellow. New taller carriages. The truck ride track is a lot longer now. The footings are in for the camp swing and new theater. Nothing vertical there. I think they will be done in August.

Flashbacks!
The last time we went to Knott's, my daughter was about 3 or 4. We spent hours alternating between that train and those balloons. HOURS.
Good thing we'd toured the rest of the park first.

I think it is possible. The little honking cars are pretty much done. The train is done. The coaster is finished but they are still working on paving and the loading building. I don't see the camp swing yet. Just the footings for it. I bet that could be put up in a day and then finish the paving. The theater is behind schedule as is the upgraded Moose restaurant. The Camp Snoopy store has been done for months and is open.
I was watching Hiatus saturday at Knotts and decided to look them up. They seem to do the theme park circuit. They were at DCA for Food & Wine and where the band at the Mad T Party. They where originally put together by Disney but became friends and continued after the gig finished. I remember seeing them and the Suffragettes band in Tomorrowland.

I toured Camp Snoopy. First off the stage area is only temporary. They put up fake grass and picnic tables. It looks like an awning will be installed. I assume the actual theater will wait until after Haunt. It's just a place to relax and eat. There are some camp cabins there.
