The eastern side is used nightly during fireworks, the issue however is crossing from one side to the other. Would be easier if you didn't have to rely on traversing through the emporium/west sidewalk.

That’s what I’m worried about. But I guess considering this is WDW we should temper our expectations. Lets also hope that the reason insiders seemed to have went quiet isn’t because Starlight is facing any issues or delays.
If I’m not mistaken the parade uses the same gate (next to the firehouse) to exit the park. I think this would make it difficult to run any sort of west bypass, at least with the current setup.

During MSEP, that side was used as Parade staging for step off and using it as a bypass wasn’t an option due to “controlled access” safety protocols. I’m assuming the same will apply this time, as floats will need to be moved up there and parked far in advance of actual step-off time.
In reality, the current bypass is the perfect solution. You don't have to cross the Parade Route to Enter or Exit MK. Yes, I understand it would be nice to have two but where would it go to avoid an active Parade Route???
Of course, the other side could be used after the last Float passes City Hall or for a while if Starlight Starts at TBA(Fine with Me!!!!

I have no insider knowledge of what to expect from the soundtrack, but if they go for something more upbeat I have a good feeling it could be pulled from the theme song for Iluminate! at Shanghai Disneyland: “The Light is in You.” With starlight being the central theme, I think it would be a great choice.
It probably depends on when they started development on the parade. I think it would fit the theme, and I think that “I’m a Star” could be a good float.

it would make more sense for night parades to end at TBA. It would help with egress and stress on the monorails. As the final float passes, Guest leaving could walk to the exit without crossing guest still waiting for the end of the parade. Likewise this would result in a generally steady stream of Guest leaving, and not a growing mob following the last float.Of course, the other side could be used after the last Float passes City Hall or for a while if Starlight Starts at TBA(Fine with Me!!!!
That being said, I totally expect it to begin at TBA.
Night Parades always ended at Splash. Except for those rare YT Vids where Spectro started at Splash.

Can confirm that this work is related to Starlight and from what I've been told is to accommodate the floats coming over from Tokyo.
Disney is going to be playing musical floats with what is currently backstage on top of the new stuff coming in.
I have no clue what characters are going to be featured that haven't been announced yet, but the Tokyo-level quality is extremely exciting. This parade is now my most anticipated project for 2025.

We're already guessing that Peter Pan's Float in the Concept Art is form TDL's Dreaming Up. IDK what more MK could get from TDL. Blue Fairy can't be leaving Dreamlights to move to MK's Starlight. Same with Frozen in Dreamlights .
Unless TDL is helping with Starlight's Build?????? I don't think anyone would have a problem with that!

Float(s) plural? How many Tokyo floats are we getting here? Also, if we're getting Tokyo floats that means we're getting Tokyo quality, which means we're in for an amazing parade, at least in my opinion.
Very Unlikely I know but could TDO and OLC be working together here??? Finally, OLC level Entertainment in MK?????
My only concern here is how hard is it to turn Daytime Floats into MSEP style Floats???
