I guess this prior Dreaming Up Unit does align with concept art.

The Peter Pan float does line up the concept art in Starlight minus the face but I still don't see where Marry Poppins goes, I hope they use the Mary Poppins front because it's great. Also while we're taking some of these Dreaming up floats can we add some of them to FoF since they're kind of in the same style and FoF needs desperate help, it makes the two parade feel more equal with Starlight next year.

The face is likely gonna be removed, I assume they are taking off the existing shell and adding a new one that can hold the light patterns you see in the concept art.

I think the first half of the float is either gone or they may have redone it with Tinkerbell.

If people only knew the truth about this parade.

A few guesses:

1. It will blow everyone’s mind and be a much bigger deal than we think for MK next year.
2. This will actually be, mostly, Dreamlights whether that be the parade ending its run soon in Tokyo or a copy of some of the floats.
3. It will be a major letdown and disappointed from what we hope it will be.
3. Plans have changed and or it’s not actually happening anymore or not in 2025.

If he did I haven't heard anything. But it wouldn't surprise me if they got him out of retirement for this if he was.
According to his LinkedIn he worked at Universal Studios Japan and Universal Studios Beijing from 2018 - July 2024 and his profile still lists Disney and he last posted about the Incredibles float in PTN so I guess he's still involved in some capacity.

I despise posts like the one you’re responding to.

Be direct or be silent. Leading posts that drive up paranoia are so freaking obnoxious and drip of a nine-year old saying, “nah nah nah nah nah nah I know something you don’t know!”

I think this parade with be great and don’t take issue with chopping up the shells of previous parade floats. That’s how you stretch a budget.

As for 2, No hint anywhere that Dreamlights is ending. So no way MK would get current Floats. Do we know how long TDL hold on to Old Dreamlights Floats? Dreaming Up ended in 2023 so It seems more possible that TDL still has those rather than retired Dreamlights Floats......

I'm scared that's it's option 4!!!! That MK really don't want to do this or the Budget for Starlight is spent elsewhere in TWDC!.....

Thanks for your imput! 😀 I'm still suspicious of TDO until at least I see Starlight on the Calendar! LOL!

So the Peter Pan Float(if the Dreaming Up Float is true)is getting rebuilt to the way Electric Parades look?

Oh yeah... I do remember reading that on LinkedIn now that you mention it! We share a few common connections and a friend or two, so I really should have remembered.

Since more than likely once Disney announces the opening date for Starlight MK will immediately max out for APs, do we also think MK will sell out for regular park tickets as well on opening night?

Not that I wish Chaos on anyone but it would be Wonderful if MK was full for the return of an Electric Night Parade!!!!

CM Preview Nights I'm guessing will happen but any talk of AP Previews?
