The triangles don't represent the exterior of SSE me thinks

I haven't seen a single one of them that even looks like a triangle on SSE, they are all different sizes, etc.

At first we were....well Merf was.....in an uproar over the triangles....but after I sifted through some old threads (after we figured out what the heck they're finally doing with the ending :)) I realised that these tomorrow's child rumors had existed from the beginning, and went along with rumors of the wand coming down, Siemens interested in the song, etc.

Then we learn about the rushed opening, and was proven by continued changes and additions even after the ride "officialy" opened in February.

The triangles are simply a new style of taste.

The original tomorrow's child ending featured abstract shapes, and now-outdated purples, and yellows, etc.

These blue triangles....actually not all of them are blue....are hooked up to video and audio feeds...let alone they are hooked into a fiber optic canopy that has yet to be activated...but was slightly working when I was evaced from 180top....so that looks promosing....as well as the finishing up of the star curtains ....so it will be a nice trip through space I think when its done

the worm hole of infinite blue stars takes us from present day in outerspace to present day back on earth

and to fit in with all the blue and metallic that has been branded into the ride...the blue and white ending makes more sense than brining back purples and yellows.

tomorrow's child 2.0 will be a final message from Siemens on our way back to earth that yes....we can invent, create, and shape our future, but above all it will be our children who do it when we grow old

now it most likely will not be exclusively little blue children in blue triangles, but it will allow for us, our touch screens, and infact everyone else on the ride to be a part of a final message...that yes....despite the world we live in....and that notion of "we can't do it".....then hopefully our children can do it

and their last impression *fingers crossed* is that the SSE model comes back...and can hopefully change between planet earth and spaceship earth before we swing back forward and enter project tomorrow

what I want to know is who the heck is going to sing the song

is it going to be a woman, or a man, or a duet, who knows

but somehow it will offer an informative, fun trip through time that even kids can enjoy, and allow the whole family to drift through the stars and walk away with an empowering message as they enter project tomorrow and can touch tomorrow itself with the hands on exhibits that have proven very popular

EPCOT Center won't be reborn, but my faith in the EPCOT message will be restored than companies can find NEW, INTERESTING, AND RELEVANT ways to fullfill both the fans and the average joe that Epcot can be fun, but a bit inspiring....to walk away with a sense of "wow".

:) God I got a warm fuzzie the size of the land pavilion right now

I think the exterior triangles are what they are based on. Whether they are the same size is probably irrelevant. Again' I wish Bob Zalk would explain their significance.

I have a direct quote from Corrus to me making the exact same statement about the Wand a few months before it came down. People promised the Wand wasn't going anywhere anytime soon and then all of sudden.....cranes came in.

No matter how in the know you might be, there is always a chance for a different outcome.

I don't want to start trouble but Corrus is not as "in the know" as you may think. He does not have current up to date info about whats going on with the attractions.

The Wand I knew was coming down way waayyyy in advanced thanks to WDW1974 and a few weeks later Reimagineering.

Just to keep everyone straight here, the wand was in a bit of a tug of war for a couple months before the plan was finally decided to pull it down.
It stays-it goes-it stays-it goes...

Said tug of war based entirely on neither side wanting to pay for the demo.
The good side won, I think.

Something just popped into my mind. In 1999 when they painted the LaL stripes on the legs of SSE did they put a construction wall around them?

The entire entrance plaza was walled off in '99 to add the tombstones. I'd assume they didn't put up specific walls around each leg—they just painted them while each side of the plaza was walled off.

At the same time, the eastern walkway under SE was closed off entirely as well for Wand construction.

Was SSE open during the construction?

In `99? Yes. This site used to have photos of the entry plaza beging rebuilt (not pretty) in the news archive, but I can`t find it in the new layout. Let me see if I saved any.

So how did people get into SSE with all the construction work?

The walls stopped at the elevator core or there abouts. Let me see if I can do a screen grab...
