Not neccasarily. All the other things you speak of (Though I don't recall a Alexander Graham Bell scene in SSE.) speak of important "stepping stones" toward the future. The American Civil War only affected America and is not really relevant to the story being told on Spaceship Earth. BTW In my script the Woz-look-alike is specificlly referred to as Steve Wozniak.:animwink:
Oh and for trivia buffs' The caveman scene supposedly takes place in a cave located in what is now France.

This isn't a history lesson, but the Civil War had global repercussions. Are they obviously seen? No, but they happened, and some would argue that they exist to this day.

As for the chariot projection, I agree it as a little cheesy, too unrealistic but I liked it. Every time I pass that seen I would stare at the projection.

HMF, do you have plans to add a freshly printed newspaper smelitizer in that scene?:D

No' unfortunatley' I wish to work for WDI in the future. The dissapointment of the newest incarnation of Spaceship Earth inspired me to write a new script (which I have revised several times now) that I hope one day to utilize on the next SSE Refurb. Sorry for the confusion. I have just begun to dream.

If you do realize your dream please, (for Walt's sake!) create a decent transition between the Sistine Chapel and the industrial revolution. I recommend DaVinci mechanical drawings/sets. Think World of Motion type scene.

As for the chariot, I read somewhere that the decision was made during a ride through by a senior imagineer who deemed it looked too cheesy :brick:
Can you provide a link?

and EHH? Cheesy? That thing was awesome! I was always captivated by it as a child.

I just know I read about the chariot rider but can't remember where. As I recall it was from a credible source because I took a mental note of it whereas many rumors I just dump. What is EHH?

No, not that again. Let's just say that I'm still very disappointed with that section of the rehab however :zipit:

I have one question for you HMF...

In your script, do you thank a Phoenician??? :)
No. But I do credit them with making a significant contribution to the future. My script is much more intelligent than the current one. As for the smellitzer I am still thinking.

I took one for the team and rode Spaceship Earth last night. Nothing notable to report. Caveman Prime seemed a little quieter than usual. The female violinst in the Renaissance was shaking fairly badly. Nothing new with Tomorrow's Triangles. It is becoming more apparent to me that something new is coming to the descent. For example, at the former Pepper's Ghost Land, they have large black curtains strung up covering that area, and fairly new light fixtures that are pointing up directly into those curtains, seemingly for something that will be behind them.

Just as long as they're not representative of World War II gassing chambers or whatever. :lookaroun

Should I just bring an elementary school full of children and cram them into the time machine with me and let them belt out tomorrow's child when I go on the ride as the new ending wont be done in January

Yeah, they've been there for at least a couple of weeks, probably longer. They sit in a fixture right down by the ride track, pointing up, directly into the black curtain. Can you think of any reason that they would want the bottom of a plain black curtain illuminated for?

I've got a question, did you think the curtains were closer to your time machine than in previous visits?

When I was done last week, I thought they were, but I didn't say anything because I thought I was losing my mind.
