I don't know what they were thinking when they did this refurb in the first place.

Well, its been getting slightly better, though yes, there are stll a number of things that need to be addressed. It certainly has been a strange refurb, one and half years and counting now. :hammer:

Yeah, I forget this is a SLOW MOVING trip through time. As long as we don't progress backwards I guess I'm good (though the current descent has been, IMHO, a rather large step backwards. :()

Well....Tomorrow's Young Park Visitor :)lookaroun:lol:) might get a quicker future.

Very true! At least it gives you enough time to look around and say "Hey!!! Was that triangle up last time I was on here?"

Exactly what I did in Aug.

There are certain things about it that I just don't understand. Beides the Narration and Descent which I have talked about' I really don't follow the logic of Removing the Roman Chariot projection' Covering the statue' Having the Paper Boy looking away from us' Having a Ticket Woman reading on the job and of course having a go-go dancer work on a mainframe computer.

I'd have to go with the removal of the paperboy and his speaking lines...

If we can get Tomorrow's Child back (still waiting on that glorious confirmation), we can surely get back the Paperboy saying, "Extra! Extra! New York Daily!"

The Paperboy is back Jenn. He is turned around facing the wall saying "Extra! Extra! Civil War Over!" but he is there!

Sorry Jenn, I thought you knew. I would have told you sooner.

Yes, as Servo said, the paperboy does indeed speak again. Albeit he's yelling at the wall, but he is shouting his "Extra, extra!" bit.

And I agree, the removal of the chariot from Rome makes you scratch your head. Honestly, the thing had been there since 1982 (right?); it couldn't have been THAT hard to keep up and running.

It WAS running when SSE opened, and WAS NOT removed (You can still see the Projection Booth on the other side) but after a few months of operating with it, the decision came from on high to turn it off. At least they TRIED to keep it.

True, it was there during the inital opening. Just don't get why it was turned off. Was it a rather small thing? Sure, but that's what makes it more puzzling. Why get rid of such a little thing that added quite a bit to the Roman scene? :veryconfu
