Alcohol in the Magic Kingdom

I mean, what's the difference? It's a stand that sells beer.

Oh and the reason for differentiating, it feels OK to buy beer from a menu at a kiosk or a bar. But from an ice bath at a cart, that doesn't feel right at Disney.

LOL I know... Coconut Rum in a water bottle for my Dole Whip! Makes the screaming whiney children a lot more tolerable :)

We were just thinking last week when we were there that next time we sneak in some rum, mix it with a dole whip or a frozen lemon aid and then every time you see a kid having a melt down you take a drink. Of course trying to sneak in that much rum could be an issue...

Honestly, restaurants don't bother me. Haven't ever seen anyone walking out of Be Our Guest stumbling around.
That's because Be Our Guest keeps it classy. They have a nice wine list and beer list; it's not a place to get drunk. I'm looking forward to having a nice cocktail at Skipper Canteen one day, but I would be truly shocked if they ever decided to sell beer from carts at MK. It's just not happening.

We see far more parents in the Magic Kingdom having meltdowns than children. (of course I'm referring to those without developmental issues both parents and offspring)

Fine. Mr. Semantics....

Beer Stands.

I just added to my post, that the reason for differentiating, it feels OK to buy beer from a menu at a kiosk or a bar. But from an ice bath at a cart, that doesn't feel right at Disney. Therefore I don't think a beer "stand" has a place either. It should be a proper kiosk or bar with walls.

Interesting, I had security at EPCOT make me open a bottle of water so he can sniff it. I was with my wife and 2 kids (2 and 4). Awesome idea though - beats having a cocktail in your room/resort then dashing to the parks!

I got a Yeti Imperial Stout from a cart near EE once. Yum!
Ive never even seen that! Which cart was it? Is it seasonal? How fast does this thing go? Does it have automatic transmission? Does it have four-wheel drive? (Sorry about that last part, my inner Mitch Murphy got loose)

Well, because recent history shows Disney attempting to wring every last dollar out of guests. Also, every last dollar, out of every last hour of the day, and every square foot of park space. So, if they are taking the plunge, and bringing booze to every land, why not maximize revenue and put beer in carts?

Personally, I'd love to see alcohol at TS in the MK, Sadly I think we will get OCV carts selling beer/wine by the cup, I can't see bottle sales because of the hazards posed by broken glass.

I also think that especially during the summer outdoor alcohol sales at the MK are going to be social media gold as the drunken WDW patrons behaving badly stuff hits the interwebz...

But other than speciality beer at Epcot, do any of the other parks sell beer at a snack cart? I've never noticed it anyway. Some of the kiosks have it and there are several bars (most notably Dawa and Thirsty River at AK). But I've not seen "beer carts" as a noticeable thing.
Have you been to DHS? They have CMs walking around selling beer outside some of the queues like they have in baseball stadiums. Stay classy Disney...
