This show really does look incredible! I’ve said it before but just wanted to say it again, it seems that they’re not cheapening out on the marketing either.

I wonder how far the series and the upcoming movie are going to go into where Ahsoka and now Sabine (who appears to have been Ahsoka's padawan) have been leading up to the formation of the First Order in the ST.

The announced Dave Filoni "Heir to the Empire" movie, which is reported to be the finale to the current filoniverse in live action.

Well now that is a matter of opinion....
Reconning the First Order is just not going to happen, no matter how much some fans beg for it. Filoni and Favreau have leaned into the ST in the mandoverse/filoniverse shows. So no way the Filoni movie is going to change course on that now.
As for the Yuuzhan Vong, they are considered part of Legends now, yeah don't see that happening. They did add the Grysk into canon which are similar, so we may get that species in the movies.

Well it’s a catastrophic mistake that not only is a dead end…but has cost them billions in licensing…which is near free money.

A. They can’t get anything done
B. What gave you the impression Bob Iger likes Lucas at all? More like he hates him for stealing some legacy because the Disney authorized crap has been so much less popular than the Lucas stuff
