I know poeple are probley going to kill me for this but i love the jonas brothers and if they took over rock 'n' roller coaster i would love it and ride it like a million times and this is coming from somone who despises roller coasters:). Now if it was hannah montana i wouldn't go near the thing espicialy since she's trieing to steal my future husband Nick Jonas. Unfortunatly it looks like something involving her is coming to Disney Hollywood Studios because when i was there a couple days ago i saw a construction wall by the studios backlot tour and when i looked through the cracks i saw what looked like hannah montana the movie props behind it.:(

:brick: Oh, my. OH MY GOD.

Jonas brothers for the rock n roll rollercoaster, that truly would take a fun ride and make it lame. If the contract is not renewed, then I would love to see it themed to the Trans Siberian orchestra.

I hope it does not happen and I don't see it happening. Rebranding it as the Jonas Brothers or Hanah Montana/Miley Cirus would be a terrible idea, and I think the creative and marketing team at Disney know this will alienate a large segment of their fans.

In all honesty, most of their fans are 14 or 15 and under, whereas Aerosmith appeals to a wide range/generations of people. If they were to rebrand it, keep it as the rock n rollercoaster, but have a multitude of classic rock stars.

I would assume that signing a contract with a record company as opposed to one band may even be cheaper in the longterm and have a wider catalogue of songs and bands to choose from.

Record companies are hurting right now with "piracy" and what not, I'm sure some publicity like this could be a tiny shot in the arm. It definately won't save the industry, but could like help them out.

The ride would never be the same for me without Aerosmith. One day it won't be just cause they are getting old y'know. New soundtrack: "The It's a Small World Theme Song Roller Coaster"

I'd love to see Aerosmith stay with it. But if they were to choose a new group, and dare I say it, Kiss. Gene Simmons is constantly looking for new business opprotunnities. Again, thats if Disney wants a Demon wearing high heels:fork:

Everyone keeps talking about how most hannah montana and jonas brothers fans are all little kids and preteens who are too short to ride but at least for the jonas brothers its not true. I've been to a ton of their concerts and its mostly teenagers and hardly any little kids or preteens. I once met a whole group of girls at one who were all 21. For hannah montana on the other hand its completly true all of her fans would be too short to ride.

13 and 14 year olds are TEENAGERS. Which directly helps other's arguments... :hammer:And that group of 21 year olds probably have a hearing disability.... :lookaroun ZING :ROFLOL:

Like said before, Aerosmith draws ALL ages to the ride. The Jo Bros or Hannah would draw mostly teenie boppers, since they are mostly promoted on the Disney Channel. I would think most of the people who would want to ride it wouldn't be tall enough!

I felt Like saying this! Has much as a Jonas Brothers Fan.. Their music doesn't go with RnR! Maybe one song but really no! And you are hearing this from a JB fan! I know the Guys are big fans of RnR and it would be sweet if their music would be playin while they ride BUT NO it should never be on RnR!

Heading for the great escape.
Really thats odd because my next door neighbours, aunties, hairdressers, cousin told me that it was going to be Slipnot and that they were recording some new tunes for the attraction. I believe this is to try and make the Studios a little more aimed at the teen /young adult audience.

My own choice would be to let folk choose which music to listen to, just like Universal.

My daughter and I were told back in March by a cast member in the Magic Kingdom that Hannah's name would be on the ride.

How does one find themselves in conversation with a MK CM about HS goings on? As with most CM rumors they are probably wrong.....at least I hope or 50% of the good rides at HS will be ruined.

Right. The Mr. Toad campaign was so successful, the only part of the ride that's left at the park is the toad statue in the Haunted Mansion pet cemetery. If Disney changes the ride, there isn't anything anyone can do about it, other than not ride the Hannah Montana/Jonas Brothers/etc. roller coaster.
