I believe there are going to be new restrooms where that ladder is laying in the recently posted photos. And I believe there will be another room to the right (north) of those restrooms, between the waterway and those sprinkler riser pipes.

The restaurant itself will not be expanding outside its current footprint.

If you're just guessing- I'd like to also. It would be a great patio location under the trees and by the water.

Not a guess. After discussing this part of the construction with some other members who have info on the project, this was the conclusion we came to.

The footprint is being extended for new restrooms.

I am glad to see Disney bringing some life back into some of these empty buildings... They don't need to "expand" the park, just use what they have.

On our May trip, it was awesome to see the quick service Tomorrowland "Noodle" station (or whatever it is called now) being used. We had lunch there on our last day. The lobster roll was good and something different than burger over burger.

Anybody remembering the "artifacts" in the queue of Jungle Cruise that had the address labels to The Adventurer's Club? If Disney really doesn't throw anything out, maybe these artifacts make it into the Veranda? One can hope right...

I was on the Keys to the Kingdom tour yesterday and I asked the tour guide to clarify. She said it will be a restaurant. She also said that it'll be a while before we hear any official announcement.
