Don't make me come out there!

You want to come here to see a Laker Victory :lookaroun

I'm not taking anything away from the pistons, they play a good game, but nothing too spectacular. I just think if they were up against, say San Antonio or Minnesota, the winner would've been different.

I still think the Western Conference is way ahead of the East overall. Nothing against the Pistons, but I think if you play that series 10 times, the Lakers win 8 of 'em. A team that scratched and clawed to get out of a clearly inferior Eastern Conference suddenly turning it on to blow out the West champs. Interesting to watch...but not typical, I think.

After battling two tough teams such as the Spurs and Timberwolves Lakers figured that the Pistons would be an easy win, but not the case and just panicked giving the pistons a great opportunity for a win. I'm not taking anything away from the Pistons, they were on a momentum of beating out Indiana and winning the first game against the Lakers. Again, I don't think it's going to be a repeat championship.

Speck, I thought you'd be a Magic's fan? :hammer:

At last people are looking at the Spurs nationally. I am not that much of a B basketball fan but I like it when Spurs go to the playoffs. Go Spurs Go

The Spurs are a good team! I'm excited whenever a home team makes it into the playoffs :) If only L.A. can get a football team :hammer:

I'd probably enjoy long strolls along the sunny California beach

I have been turned into a shaved, female chihuahua over three times by mkt

I've been beaten over the head by Lisa (Wckd Queen)'s skillet over 15 times

I am a bear and am general of the world's largest D-Army

And if I could be anywhere right now, it'd probably be Disney's Polynesian Resort.

Gee Grizz, you really opened up. I feel I know you so much better! Although, come to think of it, I wasn't sure the Poly was your favorite. Nice!

Back to the theme:

I went to college at The College of William and Mary, which like this website, has a connection to Britain: It is dually chartered, one each from the Commonwealth of Virginia and Great Britain. The British charter goes back to 1693, and both charters are maintained today. I go back to Williamsburg (where the college is located -- like you couldn't guess) every year for Homecoming. I graduated in 1988.

My favorite Disney movie of all time is Old Yeller, and I enjoyed the '50s Mickey Mouse Club (in reruns) as a child.
