A Whole New World of Huggles

Evening *huggles*, everyone!

Construction update: DH decided he'd try re-routing the wiring to the bathroom HIMSELF (after all, it's just electricity - how hard can it be?) He drags me down to the basment to hold the flashlight while he twists wires of various types and colors together, and says, "Now watch THIS!" as he proudly steps to the electrical box and turns the power back on.

BAM!!!

A shower of bright blue (actually quite pretty) sparks shower everything within three feet (yours truly had the presence of mind to step into the next room and peek around the corner, one hadn on the phone to dial 911).

Fortunately, the circuit breaker kicked in and shut things down before the house burned down. DH is now downstairs, sadly trying to figure out where he went wrong. I am upstairs, alternately posting and searching the Yellow Pages for electricians.

A class for his confirmation. Down here, most eighth graders (assuming they're Catholic) take classes before they can be "confirmed" as Catholics.

Oh... are you sure? I know what confirmation is (and went through the whole deal), but that was back in 5th grade.

I'm sure. Maybe some areas do it differently, but down here for the most part it is done in 8th grade.

I was confirmed in 9th grade. I was supposed to have been in 7th when I was confirmed but the church kept pushing the grade back because kids weren't coming back for the optional 8th and 9th grade classes. Kids still arent staying for the extra years though.

Hey Reg!

And I've been ready since November... :lookaroun
Did you ever see my fanfest pics?

When I saw Willis and Cabrera, I was kinda bummed because there was no Lowell, Lo Duca, or Delgado :(. But hopefully these young guys will give us something to root for. I know Hermida does :D

And if you REALLY want to see Delgado and Lo Duca then you'll just have to head up my way then huh?

Shame they're with that other team though...

Here its done in the 9th grade and you have to spend an entire day at a retreat...maybe thats the class he took. I made mine in 7th grade, but that was waaaaaay back in the 60's and I went to Catholic school so there was no special class because we had religion class everyday.

Maybe I can see them whenever they come down here. Just like I might be able to see Lowell when the Red Sox come down here :D
