Trip Report A Whole Lotta Driving Going on!

Hello everyone. Today, Crystal and I make our way to Disney! Our journey started almost 2 weeks ago on July 3. We've been traveling the Midwest and Gulf Coast visiting family and seeing the sites and are currently staying in Tallahassee visiting Brayden at FSU. We made stops in Indianapolis, Carlinville, IL, Amana, Iowa, Madison, WI, Oxford, MS, New Orleans, LA before making it to Tallahassee. We also made brief stops in other states along the way. Getting breakfast with Brayden later this morning before driving to Disney to get Maddy after her shift at Be Our Guest. The plan is to head to Epcot for extra evening hours tonight. I'll post pictures of our journey later. I look forward to sharing as we go.

How did you like the new Country Bears show? I watched it online and it seemed cute but maybe it is different in person.

It was good, but I miss the old humor. There’s nothing bad I can say. The versions of the songs were fun. I just like the old show better.

Lunch at Tiffins was delicious. It was our first time here.

I had a Dragon stout and the red wine flight. Crystal had the white wine flight. For appetizers, I had the lobster mac and cheese. Crystal had the cauliflower

For diner, I had the signature burger and Crystal had the butter chicken. For dessert, Crystal had the “Remember Who You Are” Lion King 30th Anniversary Dessert.

Going back to the resort for some rest. Going to Epcot After Hours tonight.

We left just over an hour ago for Epcot, but took a side trip to the Magic Kingdom to see Maddy in action

Before arriving at Be Our Guest

We then made our way to the monorail, and we are now on our way to Epcot.

We arrived at Epcot and were checked in for After Hours by 635.

We walked to the Seas with Nemo, but it was down. So we came here

I didn’t take pictures, but dinner was delicious. We chose several appetizers and Crystal had a white sangria and I had a Mexican lager.

We then visited Donald and friends

We were on and off of Guardians 3 times by 10:20. The first two rides we got the same song, One Way or Another. The third ride we got September for the first time. That is the song Crystal has been waiting for.

We grabbed a water and had a Mickey bar as we walked to Soarin’.

After Soarin’ we grabbed another water, I had another Mickey bar, and we walked to Remy. Rode twice, and now we are on our way to Frozen.

Rode Frozen twice, I had another Mickey bar, heading to Soarin’ again, then back to Guardians one last time.

I’m pretty beat. Guess I’m getting old.

We had an excellent time in Epcot tonight. I guess the only bad thing was ending the night with the song Conga

The plan was to sleep in, but we were both up just after 6. We tried getting into the virtual queue for Tiana. We did. Group 6 That’s great if you had sleep

We decided to take our time getting ready then head to Magic Kingdom

We watched a mom and her baby on the savanna from the balcony. There were two golf carts following the pair. The other animals where very interested in the baby.
