Looks like we're getting a Mario Kart Experience alongside the Star Wars Experience. Both will undoubtedly be using the incredible Long Line Experience.

“It gives me particularly great pleasure to make an announcement that we know the fans have been waiting for. And that is to tell the world know that a key part of Super Nintendo World will be the Mario Kart Experience... Together we have been working to make Mario Kart Experience an attraction that is unlike any that the world has ever seen, the most immersive and cutting-edge technological attraction that we could have possibly have imagined... We know the fans and our guests are going to be thrilled to experience it.”

Yea because they obviously don't have any expansions planned....*cough cough* they do.
I assumed they would, but what else is rumored to be planned. I really wish they elaborated upon what other franchises would be present. Aside from the name, they didn't even hint at anything else being present.

Do we know if ET Adventure is going down with the rest of KidZone?

I'd honestly be kinda sad if that's the case. ET's pretty much the last standing reminiscence of Universal Studios Florida of old. It's the only attraction from opening day that's still operational.
That seems on again off again. Personally if losing ET means another Nintendo ride I'd bring my own sledgehammer and drive up tomorrow.

Horror Make Up Show has also been there since day 1 btw.

How about the pet show? I know it's silly and a shadow of its former self, but I've always had a real soft spot for that show.

I think I must be the only person for whom this Super Nintendo World is basically incomprehensible!

I'm not particularly into Star Wars let alone Avatar and never read or saw much of Harry Potter, but they all are kind of in the culture enough for me to be interested in seeing the lands themselves. As an obviously deprived child of the 1980s and 1990s who didn't have a Nintendo, that video doesn't say anything to me. I'm sure it will be great and I'm in the minority, though!

I'm with you and I've played a lot of those games.

Pet show is bye bye.

My only problem is USF can't afford to keep killing shows. Especially with them going more and more to Virtual Line. You need shows to absorb crowds and also give people a chance to get out of the sun and sit down during there day. And more street shows and meet and greets do not make up for having a sit down 30 min show. They have a bunch of soundstages that they could easily move a new show or move the pet show into.

Big Thunder trail opened at DL today and what's with all the benches? Do they think that people might want to sit down from time to time? What madness is this?

Nintendo World is the first land-creation I'm actually excited about in ages, it looks perfect and my hype levels are dangerously high. That said, I really hope they can do it without trashing ET. It's the only "ride" that's one of the originals, I still think there's a special feel for that which can't be replicated with something new.
