A Spirited Valentine ...

Well the rumor is that it's getting a crappy Incredibles overlay for some Pixar summer event next year.
That might be an improvement depending on how it's done. I would prefer something more "Classic Disney" but whatever.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder for this ride. I rode GOTG last Saturday and I have to say it's very good. I wasn't as bothered as others that the ride changed due to Florida having the original and better version. That being said, I really liked how this turned out. The queue is great, the pre-show is great the ride is very fun! It seems there is more airtime on this ride than I ever remember.
I also rode it last Saturday. Hope you weren't one of the idiots screaming their lungs out "Guardians Rule". It was bad enough trying to follow the convoluted backstory without the shouting and screaming.
I agree that reasonable opinions can differ. Although this kind of attraction is not my kind of thing, I would have no problem with it being at Six Flags, or even Islands of Adventure. It's horribly placed in California Adventure, would be even worse at Hollywood Studios or Epcot. I don't know what Disney's long-term plans are for California Adventure, but I fear they may be going for a younger, thrill-seeking demographic...booze and bros.

Attempting to hold back my true feelings from my coworkers is proving difficult. I feel like jumping around the room. Huge plus for using Galaxy music!!! :D

No art or anything but apparently Mario Kart was officially confirmed too!!! Just need that DK Coaster now and my dreams will have come true!!!

That trailer was more exciting to me then every single one of these single IP immersion lands that have been produced in the last few years with the exception of what we've been hearing about Star Wars Land.

Being a Nintendo fan, Nintendo sure knows how to make stuff exciting.

It would be nice if they toned down, or better yet turned off, the annoying sound effects on Primeval Hurl. That part of the park was blissfully silent during our last visit.

It's bad enough that DinoRama looks like the CNE. It shouldn't sound like it too.
"Looks like the CNE" may be one of the most Canadian things I've ever read on these boards. Maybe they could replace the triceritops spin with the Polar Express and then open a food building somewhere nearby.

One thing I noticed is that despite being called Super Nintendo World, it seems to be strictly themed to the Mario universe. Don't get me wrong, that's still really awesome, but having "Nintendo World" in the name had me thinking it would be more along the lines of Super Smash Bros. if you catch my drift.

I think it also says a lot that people are waiting in line longer even now to just get on a 3 minute ride than are lining up to do anything in Pandora.

I was there about 7:30 am and headed straight for the GOTG fastpass machine or so I thought. At the corner by Carthay Circle, I see fastpass line here. Ok, I enter the line and weave about then back on the street where I you have to go down to the corner and back to the Carthay 5 times on a taped line they made on the pavement. Took about 15 minutes to make it to the fastpass machine but it wasn't so bad. Return time was 9:30 am. I have a video I'll post of the line that gives an idea if I get the time.

As crowded as DL has been reported lately, I finished 8 rides at DCA by 1:40, headed over to River Belle Terrace for lunch then another 11 rides and left about 11:15 pm. I hit GOTG, RSR and Soarin for the bigger rides at DCA and at DL I hit SM, ST, Indy, Pirates, HM among others plus the fireworks. The longest I waited was 30 min for Pirates and this was a Grad Night but some of the AP's were blocked.

It's awful to imply someone is an idiot but no it wasn't me.

Think of it like "Wizarding World of Harry Potter." It wasn't until after it was expanded that the name was made more specific for each land.

Took the words right out of my mouth.
