Where is that 2020 date coming from? What happened to Osaka's land opening in 2019 with OSU opening the following year? Here's a fun fact about Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan (and Later Hollywood and Orlando).
-The land is planned to cost $60 BILLION yen for USJ! Making it one of the most expensive theme park lands ever created. ($546 million USD!)
-It is opening in 2020 at Universal Studios Japan. Los Angeles and Orlando will get theirs in a latter date after the Japanese version.
-It will feature a Mario Kart attraction! -The technology used in it will be the “world’s most advanced technology”.
-The land will feature shops, restaurants and rides! The area is 2 stories tall. Super Nintendo World is being built in part of the Universal Studios Japan's parking lot. The area is described as being “interactive”
-Bowser’s Castle and Peach’s Castle will both be built!
Unless they are. It's awful to imply someone is an idiot but no it wasn't me.
Third park most likely. If there isn't a Zelda expansion at some point I'll eat my hat.
I guess it changed since those rumors came out. There's still a possibility for Orlando in 2020 if they start this year though. I mean, just look how fast Jaws went down after it closed.Where is that 2020 date coming from? What happened to Osaka's land opening in 2019 with OSU opening the following year?

I'm still hoping for an announcement of a Nintendo store like the one in New York for CityWalk. Why didn't the American guys bow when they were announced?
I can't wait for this to come to the United States. For me, it's more exciting than Star Wars, which has been milked in the parks so long I almost don't care when the actual land opens.
I would expect it.I'm still hoping for an announcement of a Nintendo store like the one in New York for CityWalk.
So is this gonna be a "Super" Nintendo world? I was hoping it would just be a broad "Nintendo" world. Not sure I'm loving the look and style. I like it, but it seems they are going for the early 90's "Super" Nintendo look.
Still, we've only seen a pea size amount of this, so who knows, really.
And now expect it even moreI would expect it.

I'm with you on that.
I'm not sure the low-fidelity, plastic look is going to do them any favors. It will do bonkers business and be loads of fun, certainly.
I mean, that's just what Mario games have kinda looked like as of late, particularly Mario 3D World.
Maybe they might sell past Nintendo consoles or handhelds that might not be to expensive.I'm still hoping for an announcement of a Nintendo store like the one in New York for CityWalk.
