Nope - nor will they go on record about the changes. So I don't buy the "nothing to see here.." pitch of everything was just normal production
To be fair, they haven't been all that open about the production of The Force Awakens either. Like they canned the behind the scenes book and have been very quiet as to what George's version would have entailed outside clues in the artbook.

Of course they did. They don't want to publicize the fact that they screwed over George Lucas.

The last time i visited parks there was no TP and most of the toilets were overflowing onto the floor. And i was really glad i was wearing waterproof hiking shoes which could be disinfected with bleach once i got back to villa that was a truly MAGICal experience that made me decide i'm done with visiting WDW
As sad it can be, last trips during peak days where exactly like this.
Toilets in the MK were absolutely terrible, with pooped toilet in the floor everywhere.
I called a CM and they said they would clean asap, 5 minutes later.. an army of custodials were on the work.
But had similar events in different toilets in different parks and areas.
MK and DHS were the dirtier. AK and Epcot the cleaner.

Im happy to report that in our recent trip exceeding ten days on or around the property, overflow toilet count was zero and no deficiency in toilet paper products. Dont let this keep you from going back. :)
Did you have a first HAND experience? :hilarious:

That's the old version of history.
Disney has now reframed the word "pirate" to mean "adventurer."

Reminds me when this show claimed that Pirates never steal and that they were cuddly persons lmao..:hilarious:

It's amazing what a difference a year can make. Check out this video of BTR trail at DL before and after.

Thats terrible! Where did the Geese go!
You said it. Hit the nail right on the head

It's a surprisingly complicated issues for something as simple as a theme park with all the layers of nostalgia and the agendas that impede an honest dialogue.

The best part is if you Google back into the early days of the internet and some of the newsgroups back then you can find folks complaining about the decline starting in the early 90s (you might even recognize some usernames!). I'm sure if the internet were more accessible in the 80s the decline would have started then and in the 70s we would all be complaining about the copycat DL coming to Orlando. :D

I honestly find Ironic about people complaining the parks are being subjected on criticism based on nostalgia. When almost the entire core of Disney parks is based on Nostalgia itself.

Paw patrol really got that popular to be in the top segment right now?

Also good to see that TMNT is still top notch stuff.

It has actually been a pleasant summer so far. Crowds are more manageable than usual and the return of the daily storms sends most Guests fleeing, leaving the parks fairly sparse in the evening.

Thats something that surprised me.
When I was at WDW in early January for the new years(a few years ago). in the second day at magic kingdom.. the park literally cleared.. almost all attractions were less than 5 minutes of waiting thanks to the cold rain and almost all main walkways and stores/restaurants were also pretty clear.
Funny thing that walkways filled back again for the Parades to the seams.

Gareth Edwards was pulled off R:1 and Tony Gilroy rewrote/reshot a substantial chunk of that film. So how about no.

Btw, I saw "The Book of Henry" today, Ep IX is so screwed.

Maybe we need Kim Masters so we can figure out what's going on at Lucasfilm.

Well Lucasfilm is no longer about filmmaking its about creating 2 hour infomercials for the products Disney will be marketing.

Its no longer about the Story its about flashy CGI and merchandising as such have not bothered to see the 'new' films.

You can definitely make the argument that The Force Awakens was simply a platform to reboot the series to market Star Wars to a new generation.

But if you're a fan of the original Star Wars, see Rogue One. To my surprise, they did that one right.

Personally i prefer Star Trek and Babylon 5, DW is the StarWars superfan in the house. And even she says 'Meh' to the new stuff she loves all things Rey however.

But I see the pictures that DW brings back from SW Celebration or whatever the heck its called and see the care thats taken on the sets. Then go to Disneys launch bay and the only word that fits is Lazy and cheap. Yet Disney has the entire contents of Skywalker Ranch at their disposal.

Heck singapore had a full scale X-wing perhaps Disney might have used one of the empty soundstages at DHS for a rebel hangar walkthrough.

Disney Star Wars has become what Mel Brooks as Yogurt parodied in Spaceballs. It's all about the Moychendising...
