For some reason, I only ever got food and beverage surveys but I've done them several times. I never experienced leading questions and always had the opportunity to rate things "Poor," with a free-response box to explain why.

Pooh actually isn't an E-ticket (IMO). It's a D+. That's actually a good thing.

I think it is better to be an amazingly strong D-ticket than a too-short E-ticket. A fantasyland classic on steroids with a healthy budget, neat ride system, fantastic AA's. Quite frankly, I think it is one of the best, if not the best D-tickets Disney has built.

A headliner? Yes. But, it lacks the length, thrill, or scope for it to be fairly placed in the E-ticket category and for it to earn the attention there it deserves.

But I don't consider the A-E classification to be an indication of how "good" an attraction actually is. I still think Small World is an E-ticket... but more of an E-(minus) in today's day and age.

He has just been complaining about the company and how the executes made him cut out almost everything he liked and how he made more with Dr. Horrible than he has working on Avengers and how he would love to do a DC film...then from all the negative press quitting twitter. Marvel also didn't want him to make SHIELD and he had to fight to get the show. Just a bunch of negative press.

He's been talking in circles about SHIELD. On one hand he talks about fighting to get it made and then he turns around complaining about how everything would be easier if there wasn't a shared TV and movie universe.

There's been a lot, but most of it comes from an interview Whedon did with the British film magazine Empire. In addition to a profile in BuzzFeed where Whedon says he's very exhausted after making two massive movies.

He spent a fair bit of time talking about what was cut from Age of Ultron and it can sound like Joss thinks Marvel, and I'll get to who 'Marvel' is in this context, wanted to gut the film's character development . At least from my perspective, what he did isn't talking, but rather just describing the natural conflicts that can come up during the making of a film. Of course, the press will distort as they see fit and run with it.

Devin Faraci provides some context to those clashes with Marvel, which is actually the creative committee that oversees/advises the MCU.

He did this after the first movie as well. He has always been this way in his shoes he gets burnt. He vents but then he goes back and says how great it all was Buffy is a perfect example.

I was just at Walmart and noticed that Disney is licensing its Marvel brand for energy shots. I was at the checkout counter when I noticed it and took a pic for you guys to discuss. Is this the kind of thing we want Disney to associate itself with?

If you ask me, it just looks very tacky, not to mention the associative health risks of all the caffeine and other chemicals they mix in it. These kind of products are nothing less than legalized methamphetamines. They are addictive and it is a drug. I'm not criticizing these family of products, as I use them myself from time to time. I am criticizing the fact that Disney is licensing a brand name for it, and associating itself with these products. IMHO, this is an abuse of brand licensing. It is a category of product that is best left for other companies to associate with and for Disney to stay far away from. The bad reputation of these products can come back and hurt and devalue Disney's Marvel brand.

Your opinion?

That said, it's partially what I hate about the <insert letter>-ticket terminology in a world that hasn't used that ticketing scheme in 30+ years. When you go back and actually see what was allocated to what, the modern "E-Ticket" definition gets muddy fairly quickly.

Back to NFL though, the issue there is it really needed one more ride (note, not attraction...ride). I haven't ridden mine train, but if it's somewhere between Goofy's and Big Thunder I'll be happy.

I totally agree and have said so much many times on these boards. All the current "E" definition is completely from the imaginations of the few that seem to think that they know. They don't. There are no distinctions anymore, so, with that said, if I think it is an "E" ticket, then to me it is. Someone else doesn't, well, they don't have too. The point is that just like so many things discussed around here, it is all BS with nothing to back it up.

My Suggestion: Lets forget labeling and just enjoy what is there for what it is, and not judge it based on a dead system that no one understood except for a handful of PR people.

That product was controversial before any of ours times (hence its name) and they removed the controversial ingredient and replaced it with the more acceptable ingredient- caffeine - which is still a drug nonetheless. Today, Coke still taste the same because it is the only drink that is legally allowed to extract the flavoring (not the drug) out of coca leaves, hence the "natural ingredients" you see that is listed in the ingredients. Besides that, it is still relatively natural - water, high fructose corn syrup or sugar, caffeine, coloring, and its "secret" ingredient: "natural flavors".

Energy drinks and shots are a whole different thing. First, they increase the caffeine by a lot (don't know exactly how much) and they mix it with a whole concoction of chemicals with the deliberate attempt to replicate the effect of "upper" drugs. One of these is an amino acid called Taurine. I know they add B vitamins and other chemicals. The B vitamins alone are good for you, but combined with the other chemicals in the soup, they have a different effect.

It is known that people have died from these drinks when combining it with alcohol.

The Marvel brand targets kids.

There's just too many red flags here. This is not the business Disney should be licensing to.
