300 million… But comes out to 50 million per woman beaten up.

Exactly how much money does it take to ease the conscience of of the business who supports a person who habitually commits domestic violence? How much money to look past that rabbit punch to the back of the head or your child having to hand write out a police report to Las Vegas PD?

In Disney's and the public 300 Million...I can't stand either men but there is so much money involved in this fight and so many people invested that they both honestly could get away with murder and nothing be done. Heck even churches and some high schools are throwing PPV parties for this match despite Mayweather being a wife beater.

So that makes it okay?

Good to know where you stand.

The problem is there is no evidence to support the peanut oil in vaccines claim. It's an internet myth.
From several posts here I gather that's a common opinion. So you're saying there isn't peanut oil in vaccines? I guess I'm not too caught up on the subject. I'm not saying I believe it. I'm certainly not saying it would impact any decision to vaccinate my kids. Someone asked why there were very few peanut allergies a generation ago and it's pretty common now and this theory was thrown out there. I just thought it was an interesting theory and plausible if they are using peanut oil in vaccines. I really don't know what's in those vaccines.

ESPN would be dead air if they didn't give airtime to athletes with criminal/questionable pasts.
They just spent 3 days covering a draft featuring several guys facing either drug or domestic violence charges (including the first pick) One is even a "person of interest" in a murder (he did go undrafted). If the NFL banned guys with questionable pasts Dallas would need an expansion team;). It would be hypocritical to support the NFL and not boxing. I'm not saying I like it or support what these dirt bags do. I won't watch the fight either.

Spirited Bedtime Musing (hope the fanboi minions have the 600-threadcount sheets on the royal slumber chamber's bedding):

One of the dumbest and most absurd things I have heard that is bound to **** off folks who love being offended by me and my views:

http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2015/...peanut-butter-in-disneyland-and-disney-world/

Yes, that's right. One of the most basic staples of an ice cream sundae (and my favorite Gold Rush at Ghirardelli's) the peauut is no longer being used at Disney locations in O-Town and Anaheim.

I wonder when the company is going to grow a pair and stop catering to every special needs group out there. No peanuts on ice cream?!?! What do these idiot parents do when at a grocery store? Or when they send their children to friend's home? Or on a trip?

And what about chocolate?!?! Many people are allergic. That was Disney's excuse over a decade ago when they stopped giving free chocolates when they brought a check at full serve restaurants at WDW. To be on the safe side they should just close the shops down. And the candy shops as well ... they have peanuts, chocolates and all sorts of poisons on the shelves. Can't ever be too protective when thinking about a tiny minority of children (and adults). We should all have to change our lives to cater to them! If the allergy is truly that great, then common sense dictates that they are carrying an EpiPen with them everywhere they go.

I don't mean to make light about this, but when I was a child I never knew a sole Spirit who had a peanut allergy. I also never knew a sole Spirit who had Asperger's but I am not even going there.

WIth all due respect to my Star Trek loving friends, but when did the needs of the few (or the one) become greater than the needs (or peanut love) of the many? And when does the insanity end?

All of these 'pets' that have been appearing at WDW over the last decade that are just that and disguised as 'service animals' ... even Channing Tatum has a fake one and thinks it's charming. A local bar had to deal with a suit recently by some moron who wanted to take his 'comfort dog' to his local watering hole and would place the dog on a bar stool and even hold him over the serving area (a health code violation).

I'm all for special needs people getting some help. I'm all for fairness. But when we start catering to everyone who claims to be special and has issues, then the reality becomes no one is special and no one needs help and protections.

But thanks, crazy, overprotective Moms and ridiculous execs who worry about lawsuits when they pay people off left and right, I won't be going back to Ghirardelli. I'll just head to Friendly's and get a better, bigger sundae for half the price (or less) and I'll ask for extra nuts (my fanboi minions should most definitely approve!) The stupidity never ends. Anyone recall the mother who demanded Disney remove the peanut impressions in the Storybook Circus paving because her brat was allergic (apparently, to concrete peanut impressions)?

Yes, I'm an insensitive b@stard. I'm also 100% right about this.

I don't believe I have agreed with you on anything else you've shared with us here more than this post. It hits the nail on the head so squarely that nothing else on the subject need be said.

Just saw the new Avengers and while it won't be considered the next Godfather in terms of critical acclaim, it sure the hell was some incredible mindless fun that hits a summer time home run. We went early and had a half empty theatre, when we came out people were waiting in a line wrapped around the parking lot. Its not waiting in line good, but if you're a fan of the Marvel film series, you really need to see it.

So..... Tonight is the fight of the century between a known woman beater and a glaring homophobe.

I really gotta ask... and I'm not sure if it popped up on @WDW1974's radar but why on earth is TWDC (through ESPN) promoting a six-time woman beater? Why are they having Steven A. Smith (Mr. Victim Blamer himself) do fluff pieces on his alleged "Redemption?" Why is Disney allowing, supporting and promoting this?

Even more egregious? Anyone who had the audacity to question Floyd Mayweather, Jr.,'s domestic violence arrests had their credentials yanked today. Female reporters like Rachel Nichols (A CNN & Turner Sports corespondent) Michelle Beadle (of ESPN), Hamilton Kim, Steve Kim and Martin Rogers (all boxing writers)

Anyone care to ask 'lil Bobby Iger why Disney is supporting such an piece of detritus?
simple ratings are through the roof for these guys
you can hate the guy and cover the sport

as for me ill be skipping it because neither are in their prime...this should ve happened 5 years ago

Oh because it came across that you were justifying it because of the money…
sports just makes people idiotic.
anyone remembers how many people were defending these famous sport players who gang raped girls?
It didnt help when cnn correspondents were all "ohh poor fellows ruined their life".
But the girl? hardly any sympathy.

Worse when the famous group of coaches were found guilty of grooming and "getting sponsors" in the sexual way.

Someone needs to introduce these people to the beauty of ornamental grasses. Its a new design trend I've been noticing lately. Planting the right mix of grasses in your yard can allow year round beauty with zero irrigation. You dont even have to cut it!
I've heard that the hub in the MK has beautiful artificial grass that by all accounts looks great!

It's not opinion. These peanut allergy theories (due to peanut oil) have been put forth by the anti-vaccination and big pharma conspiracy crowd. Here's some information that is useful:

There was a moment at a Congressional committee hearing on Tuesday where the entire conversation about health risks and vaccines was laid bare. Sen. Elizabeth Warren asked a top Centers for Disease Control immunization expert whether vaccines are safe – eight different ways.

“Is there any scientific evidence that vaccines cause autism?”

“No,” Dr. Anne Schuchat said.

“Is there any scientific evidence that vaccines cause profound mental disorders?” Warren asks.

“No, but some of the disease we vaccinate against can,” Schuchat answers.

“Is there any scientific evidence that vaccines have contributed to the rise of allergies or autoimmune disorders among kids?” Warren asks.

“No,” she said.

The exchange continues, with Warren asking an additional five times about the dangers of vaccines, hearing the same answers: no, no, no, no, and no again.

“Vaccines are safe,” Schuchat said.

I have no doubt. Im a supporter of the artificial grass because real grass just would not be feasible in a high traffic area such as the viewing areas. I was referring to the people who were still irrigating their lawn during drought. Although, WDW may benefit from using ornamental grasses more as well.

Ya, but lets ignore the revolving door policy in Washington and the HUGE influence BIG Pharma has in govt. Or we can ignore conflict of interest issues like the former Director of the CDC becoming the president of Mercks vaccine division and how Merck makes around 90% of the CDC recommended vaccines for adults and children. There are many more former heads of FDA and CDC that work for Phama now as well.

Any research that sheds any light on negative aspects of vaccines will never see the light of the day. CBS attempted to test results of swine flu cases and was blocked. Why? Pharmaceutical companies are one of the highest profiting businesses in manufacturing. The ties between govt and pharma go all the back to WW1. The media isnt going to turn down the big dollars on advertising they spend. What a shocker that we see ONLY positive results of very brief trials and any negative results never get mentioned. Its no different than the Disney parks blog. They control the message.

I think vaccines are needed. Let people see the ingredients in them. Make quality vaccines, not the ones they push upon us. They are far more concerned with profit rather than healing people. Listen to the side affects in the commercials when you see a man sailing on a boat with a smile on his face because he takes Cialis now. The affects are more terrifying than the ailment you seek to treat. But its ok, he is on sail boat so that an@l leakage shouldnt be too bad when he cozies up with his wife.

My 1st Cousin was once Director of Regulatory Affairs for Astra Merck. Oh the stories I've heard.

You are kidding right? ESPN has to cover this fight. Now way you don't. It is the fight of the decade so far. They also have to cover the other issues and during week they have been. Credential story is still coming out. So far reports have been mixed.
