SeaWorld uses strong chemicals to keep the orcas’ pools sparkly clean. They store the products all over their facilities – including next to fish and supplements that are then fed to the whales.

Homeland Security identified the 200-acre theme park as being "vulnerable to attack or theft by terrorists" because of the storage of potentially dangerous chemicals. In fact, in 2001, SIX SeaWorld employees exposed to noxious fumes were treated at a hospital after a contractor mistakenly mixed two potent chemicals.

But SeaWorld is stuck using harsh chemicals in the pools, unless they train their animals to get out of the water for potty breaks.

How about Resorts World Sentosa? Will they be using the same chemicals to keep the water in their dolphin and tiger shark tanks sparkling clean?

Grab some Drano and Clorox and you too are in possession of noxious chemicals.

I was kind of amazed that they kept that in Saving Mr. Banks

little fact. ibside DCA's Carthay Circle to the right of the entrance door is a photo of Walt with a cigarette in his hand. Apparently they always photoshop his smoking out, but it survived in this image.

Oh will you SHut it with your temperance lectures?

Has NOTHING to do with temperance and in point of fact WDW on vacation is one of the ONLY places I can drink as I have to be ready to travel on 4 hours notice so that means no alcohol for me most of the year so I actually like the fact that 3 of the 4 parks at WDW sell alcohol.

I'm PO'ed because instead of coming up with something unique and Star Wars themed, Disney chose the cheap and lazy expedient of a booze venue.

The Drunkywood comes from outdoor venues ALWAYS having a overserving problem, It's not like a bar where the barkeep says 'you've had too much I'm cutting you off'.

If you want to see a REAL Drunkytown go to any NASCAR race where about 80% of the fans at any given time are over the limit so to speak.

I know San deigo is first. I think Orlando starts in late 2016 early 2017. Will have to look up the article.

Edit: found the article http://www.wsj.com/articles/seaworld-to-upgrade-killer-whale-habitats-1408089841
It mentions that Orlando and San Antonio will get upgrades, but no time line.
San Antonio is getting a new Sea Lion show and habitat this year (opening in a month, similar show as Orlando) and a new dolphin habitat next year (the construction of which will "restrict access" to the sharks/coral reef area, but I don't know if they will be adjoining). San Diego is the first to get a new whale tank in 2018 with Orlando following in 2019, then San Antonio in 2020.
