I don't know much more. Look pretty large. Involves area around Kracken and the shark building.
I assume it's a ride.
Coaster would fit over there...

Highly unlikely that it's related at all.

They have rolled out their new anti-Blackfish ad campaign locally. I don't know if this is a national campaign or not. But it's basically trainers telling us that their treatment of the whales is superb yada yada yada.

SeaWorld uses strong chemicals to keep the orcas’ pools sparkly clean. They store the products all over their facilities – including next to fish and supplements that are then fed to the whales.

Homeland Security identified the 200-acre theme park as being "vulnerable to attack or theft by terrorists" because of the storage of potentially dangerous chemicals. In fact, in 2001, SIX SeaWorld employees exposed to noxious fumes were treated at a hospital after a contractor mistakenly mixed two potent chemicals.

But SeaWorld is stuck using harsh chemicals in the pools, unless they train their animals to get out of the water for potty breaks.

How about Resorts World Sentosa? Will they be using the same chemicals to keep the water in their dolphin and tiger shark tanks sparkling clean?

That is incorrect. The "new" Dole Whip location only serves straight pineapple. I experienced the same disappointment as @WDW1974 a few days ago. Though I think it's probably an expediency issue rather than cost cutting. If everyone is ordering the same thing, it's faster to crank them through the line.

The only place you can get pineapple / vanilla swirl is at the Poly.
Is the pineapple/orange swirl also gone? That was my favorite.

It just demonstrates that they need to do a little research and pick better names for their projects.

Going back to MM+ and something important to think about ... but it was supposed to make sure Guests hit that MAGICal nine attractions/spectaculars/character interactions so Disney could do away with EMH. That was always in the plan. It was factored in as a labor savings. Funny, but last I heard, EMH will be around for 'likely years to come' ... yet another way it has failed spectacularly. Not that you'll read that story.

Oh, thats an interesting tidbit if it's true. Faulty economic thinking aside, did they really think some plastic bracelets would be so much of a distraction that no one would notice/care about EMH disappearing? Considering the obscene upcharges for WDW hotel rooms, a couple extra hours at the parks is the least they could do for resort guests.

I'm still not quite sure why Studios decided at 3 p.m. on Sunday to extend hours from 8 close to 9:30 close and add a 10 p.m. showing of Fantasmic. Park was not busy. Everything was what I term a 'virtual walk-on' (meaning waits listed at 20 minutes or less) except for 80 minutes for TSMM, which was likely close to twice what it really was.

Hey now, that better not be you complaining about park hours being extended! For years, shortened hours at the parks have been a continual complaint. Pity that it was the park with half its attractions shut down with yet no announcement of new things coming, but I'll take extended hours where I can get them. I'm still waiting for them to fully embrace World Showcase as the new Pleasure Island and keep Epcot open later to rake in the extra food and beverage $$$. Maybe once Anna and Elsa take over Norway...

I'd like to go on ... but that should help give you things to talk about. But I'd rather be in Germany ... or in China ... or on a cruise right now ... too bad I had to settle for WDW, but it is incredibly cheap for moi.

Are the Friendship boats or MK ferries not enough of a high seas adventure for you? I just realized that for the family visiting from the middle of Nebraska or Iowa, the ferry across Seven Seas Lagoon might be the first time they have stepped on a "boat." It's probably a rare occurrence, but I am sure it happens.

And agree with you completely on the Poly. The lobby needs more foliage and that fountain is just too small for the space, but there are good points about it. Can't say the same for the bungalows though...they really are eyesores.

well, if we use this logic.. almost every single factory that relies in strong chemicals will be "vulnerable to attack or thief by terrorists".

What will they do? make a single NSA/HomelandSec controlled storage facility for all the companies in each town?

Pretty sure they should be worrying more about the Nuclear Plants.
I still remember when a single dude with a camera crew, could easily go up to the control room in various power plants.

They might have been following the treatments when Michael Arndt was writing the first one. When JJ Abrams came on board, he and Kasdan did a complete rewrite.

I just heard they changed it up to give Han Solo more screen time. They felt its what the fans wanted. Judging by the second trailer...they are correct. Han Solo over shadows everyone else.

Which brings up a point. Disney better hope the new cast can carry the weight of Harrison Fords character once he is gone. I'm assuming he doesn't survive all three films.
