There's a rumor going on about Mickey's Soundsational Parade possibly ending but we don't know if it's confirmed yet.
Just another reminder that they have absolutely no idea what to do with the old live-action catalog (not to mention the hours of TV material).
I've said this before but maybe someday we'll get 20,000 Leagues offered on Blu-ray. Of course, the same could be said for Treasure Island, Summer Magic, So Dear to My Heart, etc.
Treasure Island is available on Blu-ray through Disney Movie Club. Every two months they release another back-catalogue title as a "club exclusive". This year's batch included The Absent-Minded Professor and Blackbeard's Ghost.
And from what I've read, the quality has been pretty low on some of those DMC exclusives. At least they're not completely abandoning physical media for these old titles.
I'm sorry is that the parade that goes on randomly 6x a day in MK and they scream that atrocious "VAMOS!" song? There's a rumor going on about Mickey's Soundsational Parade possibly ending but we don't know if it's confirmed yet.

Yeah that parade
I LOVE Soundsational, but it's now been around for 5 years. I wouldn't mind a new parade.
I've been happy for the most part with the PQ of the discs. Audio is almost always DVD quality, and never any extras (even if the previous edition had them), but for some titles the jump from DVD-sourced-from-80s-VHS-master to newly scanned 1080p transfers is pretty dramatic.
Though I can't for the life of me understand why this year they chose to do The Boatniks and Operation Dumbo Drop (I kid you not) over the likes of The Parent Trap, That Darn Cat etc.
Well, they did away with parades at DHS and DAK. So, who knows. That probably is one of the favorite parts for kids to see all of their favorite characters. The problem of course is that Soundsational will be cut and replaced with NOTHING.
Where?Well.. Disneyland just got a Sally AA! and by AA I mean more figure that blinks...
Where?
Cool. Either way I'll be missing it. My third trip to DL will have to be around the holidays so I can see all the overlays. I can't keep missing out, lol. She's in the graveyard, gazing longingly at Jack.

Soundsational is not being cut. It may go on a three month break after Christmas. I'm not sure why yet - whether it's budgetary or something else, but the possibility is being discussed. If it goes on hiatus, it will return in the spring.
