How is it that Monorail re-routes/expansions are feasable in a URBAN environment, Yet TOO EXPENSIVE in the swamps where Disney has TOTAL CONTROL, Think on that one kiddies

I thought the same thing! They won't spend a dime on monorail expansion/replacement of old trains in FL but they plan to move track in Anaheim? It's definitely a change of attitude because I don't even think they moved the track for DCA and Grand Californian construction, they simply built around it.

I'm not entirely convinced the monorail is being routed in that manner. The route is odd, tight and doesn't seem to actually solve the problem.
We also don't know how the esplanade is going to be renovated with this project so it's possible the new route doesn't go through the BVS Hyperion Bridge as it does now.

Or alternatively, the portion of monorail being rerouted is the track that is adjacent to the border of Disneyland and passes by the ticketing complex.

Am I the only one who sees a new overlay for the Swiss Family treehouse?
*cough*

They'll probably go with your idea though. It's cheaper...

Random, but talked to a DCA Tower CM today who was talking a lot about the overlay and witnessing a lot of testing and he mentioned that the new overlay would be 3D. Is that common knowledge or confirmed yet by anyone else? @WDW1974 or @marni1971? Wouldn't surprise me and would confirm the new ride will be mostly screens.

Wouldn't that completely screw up the on-ride photo opportunity?

According to Google Maps, from the entrance to DL to where the parking garage is planned is approximately 2,500 feet, or slightly less than 1/2 mile. Whether that is "close" or not is a matter of opinion.
Yep, and a half mile is much longer at 10pm than at 9am, especially with tired and/or crabby kids in tow. So the opinion could easily change with time of day... or heat level, etc.

I think so...I don't get the reference to a treehouse... Tarzan was obvious...but this doesn't even hint. Looks amazing though...

She jumps from what looks like a treehouse at one point in the trailer. I was mostly kidding, but I expect that Moana will somehow get squeezed into an attraction at Magic Kingdom (assuming it does big business)...unless that new country that someone mentioned for Epcot is like New Zealand or something that could be the 'inspiration' for a Moana attraction.

Cast and Directors have pretty clearly said Moana is set in Polynesia so a country like French Polynesia, Niue, Samoa, or Tonga could reasonably host a Moana ride.
