A Spirited Dirty Dozen ...

That is a curious thing...would put AT&T in the same league as Comcast...but raises so many questions. Makes you wonder what DIS is thinking for their next move.
I'm still surprised they let AT&T again re-merge with many other companies.
I mean.. how many times has AT&T has been split to prevent monopolies?

Sorry but on #1 just not the case, Disney's MOST valuable property ESPN is ranked in order of desirabilty in an unbundled package behind the weather channel and it just barely makes it into the top 20, The same study showed that people are also willing to pay no more than $8.00/Mo for ESPN and all associated ESPN products.

As to point #2 100 GB equipment costs what 10 GB equipment did 5 years ago so the faster speeds will slowly roll in as equipment reaches the end of its economic life. Heck some NETGEAR SOHO switches have support for 10GB optics

Heck my home connection is 1 GB GPON and I live in the sticks
I read ASUS recently rolled their first 10gbps economical switches/routers... they are a 6x1gbps + 2x10gbps routers for sub300USD prices.
Not to mention enthusiasthigh end asus motherboards now have 10Gbps ports.

It could be as simple as putting the right people behind it to sell the idea to the public. NVIDIA released the SHEILD as this kind of device but it didn't take off. I wouldn't be surprised if it came out that the SHEILD 2's cancellation had something to do with being approached by Nintendo.

No BC.

One person who leaked the NS has said today that it does have extra power but I guess we have to wait on that like always.

I would be shocked if there's another handheld that's not just a revision of the NS.

While there's always been a PlayStation in my house and I've always had a fondness for them* I do believe Sony and Microsoft are starting to go for too much blood with the PS4 Pro and Project Scorpio. We barely have 1080p at 60fps and now we're pushing towards a pseudo-4K? To me that's an even bigger gimmick than the Wii U GamePad was. I keep reading some people say that they're pushing too much to be like PC and I think that's right. I'm not saying they're doomed but it is a trend. Right now the NS trailer is pushing towards 11 million views on YouTube and is still the #1 trending video from yesterday so it seems to be taking off. It's clear from that trailer that this console is all about fun first and foremost.

About games don't forget about the smaller Japanese studios that'll be all over this thing.

*Totally looking forward to Crash Bandicoot Remastered
Ironically, most of these consoles still wont do full 60fps 4k content. Xbox's version is supposed to be only 2k and "upscaled" 4k. (just like how the xbox and ps3 not handling a lot of games above 720p.
Let alone the new Xbox one not even reaching 1080p 60fps on some games.

I'm sure it will do fine, but it's just not for me. There just isn't a reason for me to buy one just to play new Zelda and Mario games which is all I'd be interested in anyway. I have not been happy with the directions they have taken those franchises lately enough to feel I must be there to play whatever brand new versions and remakes they do.

I completely understand the reasoning behind the system (they took the feedback of "we like off TV play" from Wii U). However, that said - I wouldn't count out 3DS yet. 3DS are personal systems. I don't see families (many of which I know who play DS) having multiple of these consoles all lined up unless they somehow are under $200. Not to mention the durability factor. Notice how there are no kids in the trailer? I don't think you can count out the DS line quite yet.

If the rumor that Nintendo is going to ditch ATI/AMD combo for Tegra/Nvidia based tech I would not be surprised if it lacks backward compatibility.
Or they could end using a nintendo store like emulator.

Maybe I missed it, but have we talked about the new IMG park in Dubai?

It seems we're now going to see at least 3 completely separate strains of Marvel IP attraction development.

The first looks way too much like Transformers and Spiderman (including hulk catching you when you fall)
As for the graphics.. they feel wonky. And old.. o_O

Unsure about thor, looks like a normal everyday attraction with lights effect and water fountain effects.

I'm pretty stunned this is moving forward. Feels like a bad use of AT&T's cash. Still seems like Disney would make a move to further diversify their revenue stream as a knee jerk reaction to this.
I actually wonder the same.. AT&T just bought the second and third largest carriers in my country too. I would hate to see them go under now that they have just replaced the brand, tech, support and payment systems towards an AT&T more efficient branding.

I bet the people are Disney are happy but some at Fox and Marvel maybe not so much about the news of Tim Miller exiting Deadpool sequel

Damn, let's hope the movie doesnt lose its charm and end into another transformer-esque "graphics are awesome, plot sucks" turd

That's interesting.
So the dispute wasn't between Miller and the Studio but Miller and Ryan Reynolds?

Considering Ryan Reynolds is also one of the producers.. no surprise he had more a say than a director who did just debuted.

Just something I'd like to say. For those who are still somewhat unforgiving toward me because of the trouble I was causing = (Cars Land) I have been very stupid about predicting DHS's future. I was new, and wanted the attention of being new.... Sorry to everyone.

Someone tell @PhotoDave219 he doesn't need to put ignore on me anymore. That was when I was causing trouble.

Count the still in use floats...
Also, everyone flips out over Disney's pretty standard slow updates for parades but how many of those parades were entirely new build vs reused floats from the Tencenial with a couple new floats? I think that we're incredibly blessed for the (almost) all-new FoF compared to getting some Jubillation floats added to Share A Dream Come True.

The Jubillation float was added for Festival Of Fantasy. I'm still amazed at the final steamboat float and they had an actual band.

Yes but ATT is not the ATT of years gone by it's actually one of the RBOC's in this case SBC who bought what was left of ATT after the 'vulture capitalists' got through destroying it and renamed itself to ATT.

I hope the Herschend rumors are correct.
Those people are experts at developing top-rate attractions for very little money.

Will the theme park be indoors to completely control the climate, weather? One could do a lot with an indoor theme park with the technology we have nowadays.

One certainly could.
