We've been through this before, if you know something about a crime being commited especially one as serious as you are speaking about then it absolutely is your place.
I don't want to come down harshly on you, Peter. Really! We have been getting along famously and I tend to agree with most of what you post here.
But when it comes to reporting crimes of a $exual nature that you are not a party to, it isn't that simple at all, despite what some schmucks think. let's say someone knows that an Imagineer was having improper relations with a young teen. But the teen is now an adult and would deny it or claim he was a willing participant and would never press any charges, do you know what winds up happening? Both the victim and the perp take legal action against YOU! By all means, if someone sees something inappropriate they should call police and, possibly, even try and stop it if it is a violent act. But this idea that Hollywood -- and Disney -- and its boy lovers problem has a simple solution really hasn't been paying attention.
How many years has it taken for Gary Goddard to start to see some ramifications of literally decades of having boys like they were candy? And he isn't going to jail unless a very recent kid comes forward and his parents don't take a few million to walk away and get him therapy.
If I know my neighbor is forcing kids to make films with him, then I'm going to contact the police. If he has lots of kids hanging at his house all the time and is plying them with gifts, I may know he is up to no good, but I am not getting involved.
I tried for years to get CNN, and others, to cover the story and instead they did a weak special on theme park molesters.
But if people have an issue with it being discussed, then I have an issue with them. This has to change.
