Exactly. When has Ford ever been an 'insider'? His style of posting is blunt and typically it's an opinion that many disagree with. But that's all it is. It's written as statements in some cases, which is wrong - but him guessing that SWL is opening in 2021... I get a good laugh more than I do get annoyed. Strong viewpoints are what keep discussion threads like this going.

Maybe for you. I see this as entertainment and not the be all and end all of truth. Everyone here is playing a role and some play harder than others.

But he's convinced it's true, that's what makes it funny. And everyone trying to reason with him adds to the comedic value. These sort of conversations never fail to make me laugh.

Frankly my only desire is for Disney to uphold the standards it set for itself. As to how I feel about the current track of Disney I've been a DVC member since the time you received admission to the parks along with your stay, As of Dec/Jan I will no longer BE a member as I will be selling as soon as my last point rental contract is completed. That alone ought to say that I'm putting my money where my mouth is WRT Disney's future prospects.
Yes I could have sold before now but that would have meant ruining a couple families Disney vacation and frankly that's not my thing customer satisfaction is my thing, A concept Disney forgot about back in 2010 or so when the cost cutting/service reduction trends really took hold and continue to accelerate today.

The latest beauty was still being stubborn after Steve//wdwmagic told him that Star Wars Land is opening at DHS in 2019 and he still continues to insist it will open later. I mean, that tells me a lot right there. His having a different opinion isn't the problem. The schtick is overdone. Just like some people find it entertaining some of us don't. And people only get on him when he posts things as facts. Not sure why people are trying to make it that it's an issue of a "different opinion" which couldn't be further from the truth. I welcome different opinions. I think Ford has a solid point every once in a while but as I've said before, it gets lost in the schtick. But he gets a few who fuel him and he gets attention for it, both good and bad. I actually don't dislike Ford, I don't need to be told to block him because I won't, but my frustration is that I actually think he can be better than the schtick (that and the false facts presented as statements and not opinion, even though I guess it should go without saying most of what we post is our own opinion). But we've given it enough attention ...
No one likes anyone beating a dead horse, which we are all guilty of, but we know how he feels.
Now, JT's schtick, that's harmless and slightly entertaining.

If you dont find it entertaining then why do you read it?
I used to dismiss that argument, but in this case it really runs true. There are several avenues for the ford complainers to rid themselves of this schtick they so disdain.
Yet instead they take none of those available avenues and just complain for pages and pages. I'm not sure why.

My post was enough on this subject. But asking us questions keeps this topic going. It's not really pages of complaining it's someone pointing out he's wrong and then others jumping on them as if they're on an agenda seeking mission to harass Ford, which isn't true.
Just because I don't find it entertaining (I used to but it got old) doesn't mean I don't want to see his opinion. We live in a world where we insist to others they censor what they don't like to hear but different opinions make the world go round. I don't have "disdain" for him or his posts.
I don't know why any of us have to explain anything though. Since I had to explain, why do you find his posts entertaining?

Isn't it? I feel like the Ford situation is being twisted big time here. And now we "complain for pages". It only goes on so long because there's this ridiculous back and forth we're in now.
The owner of this board told him to stop posting lies. Hasn't that registered with those who find his posts entertaining?

Where did I say you were 'in the wrong'? Oh, that's right, I didn't.
Moreover, if you read my post here yesterday, I said it's wrong when he posts his opinions as statements. Part of me finds it a bit hypocritical for some to continually complain about something they can easily avoid. That's not saying they are 'in the wrong' -- just an observation.
So.... how bout them Astros?
