I think Disboards is the only Disney forum site that he hasn't been on yet.

He'd be banned in SECONDS there, Over on mouseowners there was a disney cynic who went by the name of greenban who was proud of being banned from there, Loved his avatar a Bullfrog wearing a helmet smoking a stogie

I read pretty regularly over there and I don't find them to be very apologetic about Disney personally. Maybe it's the boards I read, but there's a lot of criticism, and for the most part, Pete Werner has been very critical of Disney when it was deserved. Of course, like I said, it may be the sections to which I'm paying attention. I don't delve in too deep on either site.

BTW, quick update on "Movies Anywhere" - it worked rather flawlessly.

My DMA account transferred over, and they clearly did a really thorough job in making the linking to external accounts from external providers as easy as possible. It took me about five minutes to link my Amazon, iTunes, and Vudu accounts to it (and I got the 5 free movies).

The only flaw for me right now is that the game consoles aren't involved yet. I don't know how it works on PS4, but on XBOX I know Disney already has a relationship with MS, because my DMA account was already linked and I could watch all my DMA content through the native XBOX Store already. Hopefully it is just a matter of time before they integrate them, as well.
Worked rather seamlessly for me as well... the only thing was that any Paramount or Lionsgate movies in my iTunes library didn't transfer over, as those studios are still in negotiations to join the party.

Make sure you link up your DMA account through the Manage Retailers setting and you'll get five additional Disney/Pixar animated movies.

I remember Disboards was the first Disney forum I joined before becoming a member of this site days later. I don't know why but I started to lose interest in Disboards once I became more active to this site. Maybe since most of the users are more positive while I enjoy discussions on the negative, positive and critical side of Disney.

This site I've found has much better news and rumors. However, I find the DisBoards to have a better general information section. To each his or her own.

How do you define "major"? As in the majority of contributions?

It is quite demonstrable that Spirit has provided a minority of the rumors catalogued here. And a tiny, tiny, tiny minuscule of total posts.

By major contributor, I meant a popular member that often caught the interest of other (not all) members. Whether people agreed with him all the time, some of the time, or never, there were some quite lively discussions on his threads.

A story you wish to share? Completely understand if you can’t and I respect that. Just had to ask.
Not a big deal. It was just about jobs vs. careers, and how Joe had been working in the college cafeteria and then a high school drama department before getting offered a job with Disney. The best part of the story was how I frightened the poor instructor with my fangirl-dom. He'd never met anyone before who had heard of Joe. (Yeah; I couldn't believe it, either.)

Change of topic: let's talk about... Me.;)
I'm stuck at sales training in Columbus, OH. The guy in charge is from Los Angeles. He started telling a story about his college friend Joe Rohde. When I freaked out, he thought I was messing with him.
He's clearly never meet me before.

Are you here from out of town or are you local? I'll happily recommend some restaurants. :)
