A newbie to scrapbooking

I use almost all of my pictures in my pages. I mean, I took them for a reason, right? Like eagles said, I don't use pics that are blurry or substandard, but I use most others. I will sometimes have 6 or more pages from a single event, but I try to group the pictures accordingly then.

I have been learning a little bit from the ladies here and have started cutting out maybe one or two pictures. Especially if I have just a ton of the same type of picture, but that is still the minority for me.

butterfly, can't wait to see your pages. I only use about 1 in every 7 pictures I take. But this is because I have a penchant for making dumb faces, so I set the camera to take three quick pictures whenever I use the tripod. Also, when I shoot fireworks, since I want to actually watch the fireworks, I just set it to take a picture once every 10 seconds. I figure some of them will be good, but then I end up with about 50 pictures of the fireworks (which throws off my numbers). I'm pretty adept with fixing pictures in photoshop, so even if they're out of focus or have some other shortcoming, I'll fix them and use them if I only have one of them.

I definitely pick out the best ones I have to tell the complete story. Ultimately, I probably only use about half of the photos I take. It's definitely hard to weed them out sometimes, but I know I'll never get caught up in my scrapping if I actually use every photo I take.

I like it! Yes, it's simple, but it's still very nicely done and the photos are wonderful.

Here is my next page. WE were waiting at the airpot and my son met the pilot. WE all look tired because we didnt sleep the night before since we were all too excited for Disney even us big kids haha.
