A new park Icon for DHS!

There is a problem though with having the Chinese Theater the icon. Its a replica of somthing already considered an icon, thus making it the most unoriginal icon in WDW. It doesn't really work. I think an earful tower relocated to the enterance would work much better as an icon.

That's because it's ALREADY the weenie. The Earful Tower is the Icon.

Btw, I wouldn't mind if the moved the tower to behind Sid's, but the catch 22 is that it would ruin the theming.

I know. I must make that post 5 times when this type of thread comes up. Just because it's in the middle of the park does not make it the icon. Look at DCA...Even Tokyo DisneySea.

But Grizzly Peak and Vulcania are the icons of those parks, and both are in the center.

It's actually Mount Prometheus, Servo.


And aren't both of them off to the side? In DCA it's in the corner of the Plaza they have. In Tokyo, you first see the AquaSpere, then turn a corner into the MiraCosta, and THEN see the Mountain?

Which is in Vulcania. Caldera, actual cone, it's all Vulcania to me.

They're both in the general, and spiritual center of the park.

I always liked how the Chinese Theater was the first thing you saw as you entered the park. It really felt like you were on a street in old LA. The BAH really messed up the experience. I don't mind it, just put it somewhere else so the theme is restored. It can still be the parks icon outside the front gate!

Finding Nemo was a movie too. Disney can extricate him from TLS anytime now and move him to his rightful spot at DHS!:lol:

I got it, Build a giant Mickey statue wearing the BAH while holding the Earfull tower in his hands. And you will be able to see the movie theater between his legs. problem solved.
