A little info on the Fantasyland Expansion.

Someone has to put you to the test. As I said you are not the thread czar. Oh but look at the time. Weekly reboot in in order but I shall return.

I beg to differ...someone has to put you to the test. Lee has backed up virtually everything Juan has said, and debunked virtually everything you've said.

Here's how I'll know what won't be getting built as Ride X ... in the next month or so, Jim Hill will run a story about this incredible new Fantasyland-style attraction that will redefine WDW attractions as we know it. That will be the ride that lost in the competition over what gets funding for Ride X - the concept and plans will get leaked to Jim as a last ditch effort to gain internet (fanboy) support for the idea and get management to reconsider.

We'll probably have a huge story on what would have been WDW Pixie Hollow (for the same reason) in the next month or so.

Also, lmao @ Jt.

Oh the original plans and models are just beautiful. It would've (and still should) looked along the lines of something from TDS. I do think project X will fit in quite nice.

You're blatant ignorance is laughable :lol::lol:

and just and FYI, making opinions about a picture is not proof

Yeah... Bad conclusions from a photo taken while riding Dumbo is more like it. But there I go in spouting off opinion.

Alright JT, save the photo you keep referring to and add arrows or markups to the photo to illustrate to us what you are so adamant about seeing. I looked back and only see staging area and site prep work. I definitely can not draw concrete conclusions from concrete that I don't see in the ground.

Here's how we solve this. JT, make another list of your ridiculous claims - Juan deny them as you see fit. We'll wait 2 years and we'll see how comes out on top.

Having said all this, what are the odds that with all the guesswork jt is presented as fact winds up being some strange derivation of what actually happens in another yet to be modified plan?

While I do admit that the plans could change again, I still feel that Project X in the middle is there to stay. They are too close to going vertical for the plans in FLE West to change that much more.
I think the FLE West is solid in plans now with BatB, LM, Project X being the 3 main draws. Now in FLE East, other than double Dumbo, I see those plans having the ability to change. I don't think it will, but there is the possibility.
No matter what happens, I still don't think JT will be anywhere close in any of his theories.

Vertical construction on Project X would have to start soon, I imagine. There's only so much more construction that can happen in FLE West before Project X is surrounded on all sides by development.

Wow, I had to post this because this is really funny!!

Here is a link to a thread where Juan posts that he has some huge news about Space Mountain's refurb, but wont come out and say it. JT04 basically almost verbatim starts accusing him of telling us nothing and "fishing". Then Lee joins in on page 2 and tells Juan just to spill the beans on what he knows.

LOL, dejavu anyone? :ROFLOL:

That was in regards to me knowing the contractors and welders that were performing the work.
At the time, I couldn't share much about it, but now I can.

I worked with a metal fabricator who helped with the track replacement on Space Mountain. We got to talk a lot about the job, including of the air testing on the track rails to verify the welds. Disney even had him build a small section of track when he bid the job to look over his work. I got to go to his shop and see the test track along with the replacement track for Disaster over at UO.

Sorry if there was a bit of clout back then, but hopefully now this clears it all up.:wave:

Am I missing something? At best they replaced sections of track not a total track replacement. So how was your Space mountain info correct and how does that relate to the "info" you're giving us now?

I think they were just commenting on the similarities in how everyone responded back then compared to this situation

Back then, I was given info from a contractor working on the project. If that happened to be slightly different in scope to what actually occurred, I admit that there could have some communication issues.

I still see this FLE as a completely different issue, since I've seen the info first hand and I'm not relying on other sources.

Juan-Do you know waht Project X is? Obviously you can't share anyway, just wondering...

And,any idea when we will find out about Project X? October's media event?

Juan, in any of your conversations with the people who showed you the plans did they give you a timeframe for an announcement of the changes?

The people I was with didn't know too much about the changes, so we both discovered it together. They were all working on a project much much bigger, so this was really low on their interest list.

A WDW project much, much bigger?

I have seen the plans for project X and the changes to FLE West and East.

I have no timetable, but would assume sometime soon. Oct would be perfect.
