Hey Juan....can you confirm that there is more to the IASW refurb is more than queue work or is it just what they say it is?

That whole side is just getting basic refurbs, nothing else really. IASW is just some queue work (that I know of).

While I do admit that the plans could change again, I still feel that Project X in the middle is there to stay. They are too close to going vertical for the plans in FLE West to change that much more.
I think the FLE West is solid in plans now with BatB, LM, Project X being the 3 main draws. Now in FLE East, other than double Dumbo, I see those plans having the ability to change. I don't think it will, but there is the possibility.
No matter what happens, I still don't think JT will be anywhere close in any of his theories.

I feel that giving the type of ride may give away too much. I do think that once vertical construction begins, making conclusions about the type of ride will be much easier.

What about Snow White's Scary Adventures. Can you spill any info about whether or not that is leaving?

As for the recent, and rather dazzling, technology upgrades this summer at Disneyland's Snow White, Thunder, Indy, Pirates, etc.... You might enjoy reading this article just posted on the Disneyland board. It's a facilities industry trade magazine, and it has a roundtable interview with a bunch of Imagineers including Tony Baxter about the upkeep and updates they do at Disneyland. OK, being in the positive mood of the evening I'll offer this as constructive criticism.

If someone has exclusive information it is not becomming to beg when the person who posesses that info has said repeatedly it can't be shared and is standing by that.

But it is even less becomming to stand by and listen to people grovel (sp?) and relish it or at least subtly encourage it. That is my beef with the entire back and fourth of this saga.

I just don't want to see a bunch of hype that turns into another firestorm if/when it turns out to be untrue. Hoping for the best, preparing for the worst.

Simple as that. Now I tivo'd Glenn Beck today so if you will excuse me :wave:

And that Disneyland info, particularly the impressive July, 2010 tech upgrades to Disneyland's Snow Whites Scary Adventures seem to play into this fascinating story of the FLE evolution. Snow White gets plussed at Disneyland, at the same time it gets canned at WDW? Who would have guessed?!

And I love the TP2K handle! I picked that nickname back around 1997 on the old atl.disney.disneyland usenet boards, and gosh if it didn't seem so modern and hip back then! I've kept it just for kicks, long after the year 2000.

I am somewhat aware of the circumstances by which he came to have the info, and fully understand why he can't go into details at this point.

I understand how frustrating it can be to know the info you want is there, but being unable to get to it. I've been hassling every source I have trying to get a handle on Project X, and I'm really no closer to it.
(I'm pretty sure it's gonna give me an ulcer or make my hair more gray...)

I assume he aspires to be the next Corrus or Tirian around here. Perhaps I'm just spoiled but it seems he has a long way to go. And if his friend's livelihoods are at stake should he be posting at all? Corrus put his own self at risk as have others (which I don't advise btw) but Juan seems quite willing to risk others. Sorry, can't see the virtue in that.

Who knows, maybe Juan has just created a cover and he is a true insider and the new Corrus. If so I will be proud to know I was the one who "vetted" him. Just another of my many services here. And I did not charge a dime.

Any 'vetting" being done was by me, when I checked out his info with some folks who would have been easily to shoot it down. They didn't. His info checked out, and none of it led back to anyone. Nobody has been "endangered."
