Uh-oh :lookaroun

I just read somewhere else that a permit was filed to begin construction of the Dumbo interactive (nextgen) queue.

Now correct me if I'm wrong but is there any construction at all happening in FL east? Does it even look remotely like there will be any construction in FL east in the next 6 months?

Hi Juan

Storybook Land Canal Boats
Sleeping Beauty Castle Diorama
Matterhorn Bobsleds
Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage
Enchanted Tiki Room (Walt's original show)
Indiana Jones Adventure
Sailing Ship Columbia
Davy Crocket Explorer Canoes
Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin
Chip and Dale's Tree House
Mickey's House (closing soon in MK)
Minnie's House (closing soon in MK)
Donald's Boat (closing soon in MK)
Gadget/Barnstormer (re-themed soon in MK)
Snow White's Adventures (could be closing soon in MK)

This to me, is a HUGE difference in favor of DL. Too bad I'm a 3 days drive away and HATE flying!

SAVE SNOW WHITE'S ADVENTURES!

Finding Nemo is "classic"? If anything it's a good franchise that the company decided to beat guests to death with.

Link? That would seem a bit premature...

Also, the scenes in the WDW version stick closer to the order they occur in the original film, which is also a strength of the WDW version.

Yeah. And it's great how MK's version has the deleted scenes.
Like the one where the evil witch bribes you with an apple to help set up her stereo speakers. She even has crocs guarding her extra speakers and tools!

(Just kidding. Sorry you may lose a favorite. I know how that feels...)

So, do you even know what this mystery ride is?

If you do, is it an original?

Yes original.
Designed originally for another park, now bumped up to possibly appear at MK first.
That said, I'm not sure what it actually is.

I wouldnt mind if Snow Whites Scary Adventures got taken. Add in something new, something Disney doesnt acknowledge much. For example:

Hercules
Pinnochio
Tarzan
Jungle Book
Mulan
101 Dalmations
Alice In Wonderland
Mary Poppins
Bambi

Just some :)

I thought I remember it being talked about here but it did not click with me that the permit was filed and construction did not seem even close. Perhaps someone else here will remember or Edward our resident permit expert. When I read about it on the dis boards it clicked that we had talked about it here. I could be wrong though. I will keep searching the other sites.

Edit: OK, I think I figured it out. We had a discussion here about a RnRC nextgen queue permit being filed and comparing it to the new Dumbo interactive queue (if it gets built). Someone on dis boards thought the Dumbo permit was filed and posted it as news. That will teach me not to stray from WDWMagic.

Nevermind.

You mean, you don't know if its a flume ride, coaster or dark ride? Or that you don't know what they will theme it to?

If they are closing Snow White, I would think that the theme of this new attraction would be Snow White related. I can't imagine the park not having an offering for all the Snow White fans out there....but I guess it's possible seeing as Disneyland's main icon is Sleeping Beauty castle and we have almost no mention of her whatsoever on the East Coast.

Are they keeping the tents?
I wondered that, too. I'm being told they can't due to the current state of the tents.
There will be circusy themed food and mercy up there, and I'm sure they would love to use the tents for savings. But it doesn't look likely...today.

This may be a dumb question, but does Disney even know what the final idea is yet? Or are they still coming up with a plan.
I believe there are still some details being worked out, but the major elements are set.

I actually hope they don't get rid of snow white. Its not a classic by any means, and its not one of my favourites but it just seems like its one of those rides that FL has to have.

I had heard that County Boounty was staying, but the condition of the tents was terrible and there were rotting problems.

I just hope that if SWSA closes that the movie will still be represented in some way in FL - hopefully in an improved way. Snow White has always held a special place in my heart and being Walt's first feature-length film it deserves a decent, permanent representation.

Well I would assume County Bounty makes money because it is where you meet all the characters, but if you take that out of the equation, then sales would most likely drop off substantially. No?
