A little info on the Fantasyland Expansion.

Why are they putting so much into Dumbo, its just a spinner. I know it needs to be expanded with more space but sheesh.

I'm kinda with you on that one. I don't believe that Dumbo should receive 80% of FLE West, but I will reserve judgement until I know exactly what is being done with these changes.

The rationale is, Dumbo has to move. The only place to put it is FLE east. Barnstormer is already there, and easy to retheme. So it makes sense to create a Dumbo mini-land.
They need food over there, so the Casey Jr food location is a no-brainer.
They need a merch location, making County Bounty an obvious match.

The money saved by doing an easy Dumbo land, plus the savings from scaling back the mega M&Gs, gives them enough to add a substantial attraction to FLE west.

I do agree, but doesn't this sparse FLE East really leave a plot for future expansion where Pixies were slated to go? I know we would be talking two decades out, but it is still good to plan for such.

If that's the case then I guess I'm alright with it. Still seems like a lot of open area in North FLE West...

IMHO, if SWSA closes down for a new Dwarf flume ride it is a HUGE plus. Although SWSA is a classic and has been in the park since opening day, I, personally, don't see a problem with this.

All of you who think it is leaving for good in place of a permanent M&G, I point you to something Raven said a week ago. Something was going to be taken down that would be "controversial", something would be put there temporarily, and then reopen as something better!

If Raven is stating something that is accurate, then we won't lose a dark ride, we'll replace it with a new updated one! Albeit we will lose a "classic" dark ride... I'm still all for it.

Knowing TDO, the temporary meetngreet will really be permenant, its just their way of tiding over peoples anger and then it blows over so they just say temporary. We will probably never see that space return to an updated or new dark ride for years to come. I have a feeling anyway.

All of the circus theming in FLE seems largely like a filler (esp. since the theme to TTF already has circus tents--this would be a relatively cheap project that would still leave room in the future for further expansion, as needed).

Yea but if the DVD movies are selling as well as a few people have said they are then I can understand why they would need to make a larger M&G for Tink & friends. I realize they will end up dying off as most fads do, but it makes sense to me because, regardless of DVD sales, kids want to meet Tink and the lines at the current Pixie Hollow prove that as well as merch sales on Tink. So expanding that can only help merch sales I would think.

A M&G makes perfect sense, but Pixie Hollow originally was much more than just a M&G--and a tremendous waste of money. A far more reasonably priced and sized M&G would work better.

Which was my only concern about EO coming back. I knew they would end up dragging it out. I can only hope that it means the Imagination pavilion will receive some love sooner than later and that we've seen the last of HIStA.

I don't think they will add the faeries, now or in ten years. Who knows what they may add at that point. If the FLE West is dense enough, as it is starting to appear to be, and in the East Dumbo has a "realm" I think we will all not miss the extra acre back there that could eventually hold something else.

I was of the impression that the movies were under performing.

Being the father of a little girl, I don't mind the Pixie Hollow stuff. I really don't... but I think the changes are for the better. If they find a place for a meet and greet it just makes my life easier and keeps my family out of line for the rest of ya'll.
