A little info on the Fantasyland Expansion.

Are you guys ever going to get over the newbie posters spreading rumors?

He says that the best thing of the expansion is the lineless queue for Dumbo. And then that there are 'thrills coming'. And then after that 'if anyone complains about the finished product I'd be shocked'.

Those are completely contradictory. If the 'coolest' part of the expansion is a freaking queue with no lines, these boards will flood with the tears of all the QQing.

Stop taking newbie posters as gospel.

Yes, I realize his join date is old. His two previous 'informed' posts were also rehashes of well known rumors at that time. Mermaid Lagoon and Space Mountain refurb. It looks to me that he's good at spinning a story with a couple of his own added details. Nothing more.

That'd still be in Fantasyland. It seems like Splash Mountain inspiration is for something outside of FLand, and recent rumors have been pointing to something big with merchandising will be moving into Frontierland.

Plus, the land existing in FLW for another ride is large, but not flume large where you need every side covered. The remaining patch (where Cinderella and Aurora were to go) is basically an island in the middle of FLand.

Thanks for all the input on my post. In regards to the Splash Mtn reference I believe he meant something in the Splash Mtn area was in the works and I assume would be themed similarly to SM. I get the feeling this may be more of a minor\medium level plussing of that area. Thats my guess but he really didn't give me much to go on. I was surprised he gave me this much info. He is always very professional and tight-lipped.

Fuuny thing is, those plans are so old now. The newer ones with the "added features" haven't been release to the public and probably won't be for a while yet.

One of my roomates overheard an Imagineer talking about 3 rides coming to Fantasyland... Hopefully the unannounced ones will be awesome...

As for Splash Mountain, the only thing I know is coming are Lap Bars (I've seen them).

I read this as a new thrill ride is coming but not with a Snow White theme as in Snow White's Scary Adventures.

Maybe not literally the best thing in the expansion but the most exciting because it is a NEW type of queue experience that could potentially change the way guests enjoy the parks.

That's one benefit of Mack's system.
Nothing says they would use it for a Splash at DLP. Could be an entirely new concept, planned eventually for DLP, but opening at MK first.
