A little info on the Fantasyland Expansion.

If they did close Snow White's Scary Adventure that would be hell for them unless they built a new dark ride. First off, Snow White. Does she even have a Meet and Greet? Not all kids will ride fast rides. That's not just a classic you can scrap. They would have to rebuild.

I very highly doubt that Snow White's Adventures will be leaving the park.

Its really sad to me that snow white, a park mainstay coming up on 40 years is going to maybe close. Yet on the other hand it is time to breathe some new life into it as its become a bit stale. But replacing it with a meetngreet instead of an updated snow white or any other dark ride, annoys me.
I know we dont know what the new attraction in the expansion is going to be yet, but if its not a dark ride that means we will go from 3 fantasyland dark rides, to just 3 fantasyland dark rides yet again if snow closes, and mermaid opens, whereas it would have been 4. Disneylands fantasyland has 5 right? toad, pan, snowwhite, alice, pinocchio.

But in reality it is an attraction that doesn't eat a lot of people due to low popularity. If it is an awesome ride wouldn't it be look at positively?

If Lee's sources are correct, none of the following would surprise me:
- Snow White's Scary Adventures closes for princesses
- The Fantasyland Stroller Disco (Aka Skyway) becomes a version of Pixie Hollow
- The Mystery attraction that's taking the place of the Chateau's is themed around Snow White.
This is speculation at this point, so by no means take it as fact.

SOOO much has happened today. It has taken me an hour to sort through everything. I am all for these changes. And out of all the Princess movies, I think Snow White may have the widest appeal.

Meet and Greets add capacity too.
And we are supposedly geting a ride where the M&G's will go and the area that it occupies is HUGE. I have high hopes for the future.

ok makes sense even though I hate the loss of a darkride.......... but what about the huge space in the eastern section where pixie hollow was to go, is something still slated for there?

Right now, all we got is dumbo, dumbo and more dumbo..
juan was also cryptic saying if nothing goes there, it will be made up with the new ride where the m&g were going to go, and with things in the rest of the park...
if that's true, i can tolerate scenary and a walk around area for a little while.. but history tells us that space will go unused, become a pin store, dvc stand, stroller parking, or a play area...

Why are they putting so much into Dumbo, its just a spinner. I know it needs to be expanded with more space but sheesh.

IMHO, if SWSA closes down for a new Dwarf flume ride it is a HUGE plus. Although SWSA is a classic and has been in the park since opening day, I, personally, don't see a problem with this.
All of you who think it is leaving for good in place of a permanent M&G, I point you to something Raven said a week ago. Something was going to be taken down that would be "controversial", something would be put there temporarily, and then reopen as something better!
If Raven is stating something that is accurate, then we won't lose a dark ride, we'll replace it with a new updated one! Albeit we will lose a "classic" dark ride... I'm still all for it.

Exactly, it's not a fair exchange! SW doesn't "eat" a lot people now at all... it hardly has a wait! A new ride will be popular and will "eat" far more people then SW currently does!
Actually, that is one thing that is lacking in the new FL... unless we get a little play area near Pooh!?! We lost PPS and we're losing the play area in TTF. In an area that is geared towards the younger set... I see a play area being incorporated as a good thing!
