A Dreamy Kind of Vacation!! Topped off by 4 Parks in One Day!

Wow, wow, wow. It was just amazing. I love cruises, this was my 6th, and this ship did not disappoint!!:sohappy:

What: This was a Disney Dream preview cruise. Earmarked agencies like Kingdom Konsultants were able to attend. This was the cruise before the maiden voyage. Pam was awesome and took as many agents as she could.

Who: This ended up being another girl’s cruise! My hubby’s base is preparing for a large inspection so he knew he couldn’t get away. I just took the kids out of school in October for a week at WDW, so they were out! Girl's cruise!

Here’s me, travel agent forced to go to Disney and take Disney cruises as often as possible. Now a preview cruise on the Dream? Man this job just keeps getting harder.:

My sister. See the resemblance?

DisneyDream120_filtered.jpg

My mom. She’s been on a few of my cruises and did not want to miss this one!

DisneyDream439_filtered.jpg

My dear friend Misty. She is a Disney fanatic. Has been as long as I’ve known her. When I called and asked her to go, she was literally screaming into the phone! Now that's the kind of reaction I like!

DisneyDream436_filtered.jpg

Last but certainly not least, several of the Kingdom Konsultants were on this cruise, so here we are! Not a great picture, but it's a funny story that will be told later in the trip report. :lookaroun From left to right here's Marie, Richard, Pam, Me and Jenell:

After Christmas ended, I felt like I was finally able to get excited for this trip. The first thing I did after all my out of town company left was get out my suitcase!! :sohappy: The next thing I did was look at our flight times again. As it was, I was the last to arrive. I can’t stand that!! My sister and mom would be calling me from Disney and torturing me while I was still in transit! I decided to call United and see what they could do about that. Well what do you know, they had an earlier flight they could switch me to! I was getting there 30 minutes after the first person to arrive, my sister. I wasn’t even going to let her leave the airport without me!

It's going to take a few days to process all of my pics so this report may take a while! Here's a sneak preview though. This is a video of our first trip down the Aqua Duck! You have a lovely view of my toes in this video. I don't know if this will work or not. If no one can start the video let me know:

After touring the kids clubs, I had to leave everyone for our first session in the Walt Disney Theater.

DisneyDream263_filtered.jpg

These Mickey ears were waiting for us when we got there. They light up!

DisneyDream264_filtered.jpg

After the session I had a lot of exploring to catch up on! I found out that Bailey from Suite Life on Deck was there! Look at how cute she is!

We made our way to the adult clubs to check them out. They were quiet during the day but man were they packed at night!

The sports bar was packed for football playoffs:

We came back to visit with these snacks later during the cruise.

This lounge is called Skyline. The walls are covered in cityscapes that change from day to night. The cars even move! This was taken at night, that’s why it’s so crowded:

Really enjoying your trip report! Your pictures are awesome and gives me a good idea of what everything looks like. Now if I can just convince my husband on a cruise. My girls would love the tween/teen clubs, especially if they have a smoothie bar!

I'm glad I can give you some idea of what it looks like! It's hard to convey it all in pictures, but I don't mind trying!:)

How cool are those kids club? The handwasher and the bathrooms are too cute! DO you have any idea what activites they are going to offer in the Oceaneers club/lab?

Also your door decor is so cute!!! Where did you get them from?

So cool! We all need one of those handwashers!

I didn't pay too much attention to the kids activities in the Navigators this time, but here's a few things I know. Crush swims by the big screens to interact with the kids. Later when you see him in the dining room at Animators Palate he tries to recognize kids he saw that day. The play floors have a ton of different games on them. They have time do learn to draw animation, there's cookie baking, they make flubber, etc. Theres's a ton of activities to choose from.

There is a poster on another board who designs the ears. I have asked him for permission to make them for all my clients and I send them a different one based on who's cruising and what kind of cruise.:)

Now it was time for the sail away party! There's so much more room on deck for these parties on the Dream! And we each got our own streamers.

Our dinner was so late we needed a little snack. We got some chicken fingers, french fries, fruit, wraps, ice cream etc up on deck 11 and took it in to Cabanas to eat. A pre dinner dinner!

Cabanas is set up very well. No more standing in one long line. Now there are multiple food stations. You go only where you want.

After that we went back and unpacked. Then we explored some more:

Tonight was The Golden Mickeys! I've seen it many times before, but there were some changes, which I liked. The new theater was amazing. The balcony was great too.

DisneyDream339_filtered.jpg

Wow, we still had an hour to go before dinner. That was rough for us to eat so late.

Here’s some pictures of the bathrooms outside the theater:

Okay the new design of Shutters is a home run! No more sorting through piles and piles of photos. Now you just wave your stateroom key in front of a scanner and you are directed to the location of your photos.

Finally it was dinner time! Animators Palate! This was definitely my favorite restaurant. The new design is great. Crush swims around and talks to the diners through screens all over the restaurant. Other Nemo characters make an appearance too.

Before the doors opened:

There were a lot of things I wanted from here! Like these butter knives!

DisneyDream374_filtered.jpg

This bread basket!

DisneyDream383_filtered.jpg

Our servers were struggling tonight. One was new and our dinner took over 2 hours. Thankfully they got much better the next two nights.

Bedtime! I had a nice gift waiting for me in the stateroom.

When I checked in for the conference we were told we would have free internet on board. Woohoo! Or so I thought. With everyone having free internet, it was slow as Christmas if and when you could connect. Oh well, they tried.

Wow, that was only day one on the cruise!

I followed you over from another board to look at your Animal Kingdom TR (which was amazing too) and I found this one:sohappy: your pictures are so good, can't wait till March when we get to check out the Dream in person.

Thank you for sharing.
