Well, I got one finished this evening. Isn't it a shame how work interrupts scrapbooking?

I love the pink let's shop! How cute, you're already raising a shopper! The digital pages really look so great on the computer, if I had more time to try to learn a new method, I might try it.

That's a fun page, Coree. I love your background paper. It must have been another picture that you took. I like the idea in digital that you can blow up one of your pictures and use it for your background. Those playhouse disney pictures are so fun!

Yep, it's a picture of the Playhouse Disney in Concert sign that was outside the Johnny and the Sprites concert.

No, that was in Exposition Hall at MK in the back with the cinema. They had several cutouts back there to pose with. You'll be seeing more in future pages, but they had the Dalmatians, Snow White, Steamboat Willie, and Toy Story. It was a great place to cool off and rest while DD slept in her stroller. Then when she woke up with got to pose with all the cutouts.

no bashing here please, but..where exactly is expedition hall? this sounds like a cute place to take lacy to.

No bashing, Eagles. :)
The Exposition Hall is in Town Square in the Magic Kingdom. It is the building on your immediate right as you enter through the arch. . .the one with the rocking chairs on the porch.

Yep, the camera center is in there and there's a little shop. If you go inside and through the front part where the camera stuff and frames are then wind around the left side toward the back (where the entrance to Tony's restaurant is) you'll find the theater, which shows old Mickey cartoons and all the cutouts. We wandered in there on an extremely hot day. My sister had a migraine from the heat and Anna was asleep in her stroller. So we just sat down in the seats and rested and cooled off. Once Anna woke up and my sister felt better we posed with all the displays and had a really good time. Most people don't find that spot so we had the place pretty much to ourselves the whole time.

Thanks for giving us newbies who apparantly don't pay attention as we walk into MK a heads up on Exposition Hall. :)

And I just have to tell you, Coree, how much I LOVE your Dumbo page! I think that is my favorite one that you have done so far for your 7x7 book. The colors go so well with your pictures and it is just so beautifully done! It looks like chalk behind the letters and the ribbon is great! Wonderful job!

Thanks. DH thought there was too much blue and green on the page and it needed some different colors too. As we've said so many times, it's all a matter of personal preference, so I'm glad this page struck someone else's fancy other than mine. I think DH may try and do a page sometime soon, so I'll have to post the results (if he lets me). :)

It's perfect!

Gotta love it when those hubbys like to give you advice. Mine is always telling me what I should do differently on my pages. I tell him that when he wants to try making a page, he can have a say. It sounds like your hubby is doing just that.

Yep. I don't think he'd ever try traditional scrapbooking. However, he does enjoy some crafty things and loves working on the computer so I think he'll like digital and probably be very good at it. I suspect we'll have very different styles, but that's what will make DD's book even better.

Oh man, the scrapbooking forum is definitely a bashing free zone!! I hope I'm not the one who violated it by giving Figment a hard time.:(

No bashing - absolutely!
