WHO: 3rd go around alone!!

So, I had lots of mixed feelings as if I even wanted to do TR's on these trips. Other than the 2 longer ones the other 4 were really just to visit with a dear friend who had just moved there(I mentioned that in my last TR). She moved from Pittsburgh to about 1/2 hour from Disney. When visiting her I chose to stay at Disney b/c for the most part I was by myself so I felt safer. Also, in my down time when I wasn't visiting her I could go to the parks "for free", so to speak, since I have an AP. I looked at that as a "free" source of entertainment.

Since I really didn't plan on doing TR's for these I don't have great notes. Most of what is going to trigger my memories will be my pictures!!

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 29TH

Our first ride of the day was HM!!

J showing us where the camera is!!

Then it was time to meet some friends for lunch!!

We enjoyed the food as always but more than that we enjoyed the company!!

We had lunch with @lindawdw & her husband!! It seriously was so much fun!! We had met a few years ago in DS but didn't get to talk long enough at all!! They were at the end of their trip so I was so happy that we were all able to find time to get together this go around!! We all had a great time & I hope that we can do it again soon!! @lindawdw was also kind enough to get J a few treats!!

After our awesome lunch we headed over to the wildest ride in the wilderness!!

We saw a cavalcade with some friends I normally don't see!!

Pirates was next.

J's still apprehensive about "the hill"!!

I hadn't taken a castle pic yet!!

I'm not sure what the face was about!!

Or why I took this!!

There's a great big beautiful tomorrow!!

We all went on but only E & J's pic showed up!!

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 29TH

Time for a ride on the Peoplemover!!

I just love these trees!!

It was getting windy & some rain was set to be moving in!

We stopped at The "new & improved(not)" Confectionery on our way out.

I'm sorry. I'm just not impressed with it.

No jelly beans anymore!!

But they have some seriously overpriced popcorn!!

M was in a bit of a bad mood. I think their early departure the day before & 2 days in the parks was catching up to her.

Had we not stopped we probably would have made it to the buses before the rain moved in.

But we were caught in it now!!

B & M went back to Saratoga.

While E, J & I went home!!

The back of the bus, of course!!

I was so darn excited!! Our first time back in 20 months!!

It was so nice to be back!!

We went into Fulton's first. Wow, what a letdown!! That was always such an awesome store. There was hardly any merchandise in it compared to years past.

It just felt so empty.

Yay!!

It seriously was so nice to be back!!

I really missed this place!!

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 29TH

Of course we had to stop at Muddy Rivers!!

I sent this picture to R. He loves the Jack & Coke!

We spent some time there. So thankful to be back!!

After that we made our way to The River Roost for dinner.

I just love it there!!

And we all know J loves that arcade!!

We were booked to stay here in January & I couldn't wait!!

I took J to the arcade to play a few games.

He really likes this game!

We went back to The River Roost. This seat wouldn't be empty for long.

Woo Hoo!! It was so great to see YeHaa Bob perform again!!

His show was a blast as always!! Some of it is modified & there isn't as much audience participation as in the past but he still manages to put on an awesome show & everyone was enjoying it!!

We took the boat to DS. Something else that I really missed!!

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 29TH

I'm so glad we were staying at Saratoga b/c it made it that much easier to get to & from Riverside!!

Couldn't wait to stay here again!!

The dock at FQ was being worked on.

I ended up buying that shirt in Fulton's. I needed something with long sleeves. I was cold!!

We walked back to Saratoga from DS.

And J had to make fun of his cousin A again regarding the knee incident!!

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 30TH

I headed out early for a walk then got ready to go visit my friend, A. My plan was to meet up with everyone early afternoon.

I had a very nice visit with her & planned to visit with her again on Monday. Knowing my family was in WS at that point I asked the Lyft driver to drop me off at The Boardwalk. The CM asked where I was going & I made the mistake of saying Epcot. He wouldn't let me get dropped off there. He said that is to prevent people from parking at the resort. The driver explained that he was just dropping me off but he said it was too late, I already said I was going to Epcot & that's that!!
Plan B:
I asked the driver to drop me off at The Yacht Club. When we got there I said that I was meeting my family for lunch there. This CM asked me where our reservations were. I told him we didn't have any yet & they were waiting on my arrival to try to book something. He wasn't totally thrilled but he finally let me in. Again, I was in a Lyft. It's not like the guy was parking the car there!! It was very frustrating!!

At least I finally made it!!

It was a beautiful day!!

I love the proximity of these resorts to Epcot. It is so nice to be able to just walk over there!!

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 30TH

Had I not had all the issues trying to get to Epcot I may have been able to meet up with my family for lunch. They ate at Spice Road Table & said it was very good!! I had really wanted to try it there too!!

I had to settle for Rose & Crown!!

I was able to get us a boarding group but it was a long ways off!!

I am always amazing at how they put the shamrock on there!!

At least there's 2 of the 4 of us there for the pic. Unlike the last time when it was just me!!

Fun times!! But, you still weren't allowed to hang out in there.

J just had to have a few pins. Thanks @MickeyCB

And M needed a lanyard. J wanted one too but he already has a bunch so E said no. His were back at the room.

The woman behind us looks like she is in an intense conversation & that guy....he's just plain tired!!

Time for Figment!! Has everyone noticed that J is big on the peace sign for pics anymore??

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 30TH

We took a ride on Soarin' next.

I feel like Pooh is out all of the time!!

At this point I was starving so I went to get some lunch. J tagged along with me. I'm not sure where the rest of the group went.

I had the Shrimp & Coconut Curry Rice Noodles. It was excellent!!

I was glad that we found a place to sit. It would have been hard to stand & eat that!

I was still hungry so I got The Corned Beef Corner Route.

I would definitely get this again!!

After that we met back up & went on Test Track!

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 30TH

Now it was time for dinner!!

We really enjoy this restaurant!!

M looks frightened!!

M & J amused themselves by waving to the people in the boats going by!

I went with the Camarones A La Diabla. I think I get that more often than not!!

It was very good as always! I can't remember what everyone else had but I guarantee E got the caesar salad that she always gets there. She says theirs is the best!!

The kids wanted to get the 50th dessert that they have there.

It was good but way too much!!

After that we took a ride on Frozen & started working our way up front to leave.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 30TH

We remembered our boarding group so we stalled around for a bit hoping we would be called sooner than later.

At 8:03 we finally threw in the towel. None of us felt like waiting that long for it. That's 2 trips in a row that I've had a boarding group & didn't use it!!

Spaceship Earth looked so pretty!!

As soon as we got back to Saratoga Springs we were notified that our boarding group was ready!! Too late!!

Add me to that fan club as well !! (Room clocks have been a topic of many discussions between Tuvalu and me, down through the years. It's the little things, you know. )

But I must admit I was confused in this section

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 31ST

So, a few days before I was trying to figure out how the utensils went in this rack in the dishwasher. I really struggled with them & had a very hard time getting them to stay in place. I figured that there had to be a piece missing.

It was that morning that I finally noticed the rack on the door!! Yes, I am embarrassed for being an airhead but it was pretty funny too!! And, in all fairness to me, I know I've mentioned in past TR's that I don't cook so why would I know how to use a dishwasher then?

Okay, then!! After all, it was Halloween though!!

Or was it??

My sisters get motion sickness so I took the kids on Star Tours.

Then it was time for lunch!! Notice mine, M's & B's headbands? My mom had made them all!!

Usual Baseline selections--which I'm totally happy with!! Their food is really good!!

And I thought this cup was so cute!!
