5X Disney Dream Reward Dollars!!!

Wow, just got an offer in the mail today...I've had 3X but never 5X the reward dollars...This will go a long way to building up reward dollars for our September trip. This offer is for dining, gas, groceries, and airlines between 7/1 and 9/30!!!.:sohappy:

I've even tried calling and requesting a deal from them. They never budge

Although, one time I was surprised with the 5x. It worked out beautifully because I was doing a TON of travel for work, so I socked everything on my card......:sohappy:

I've gotten this offer all year, starting from 1/2009. They just keep sending one for the next 3 months. I rarely spend the $750 requirement unless I just bought plane tickets though. :shrug:

I received the last two offers. The last offer was the first time I actually received extra dollars. That was because our airline tickets for Disney was on there. It is hard for me to rack up $500 per month with their restrict coverage.

I had it for April-June and just received the one for July-Sept. Ours is anything over 500.00 you get 5x the Disney Dollars.

Thats a great deal. I look forward to getting one. I tried a few months ago but denied it stinks being young in this economy - i need to establish credit but I have trouble getting a new credit card (have just 1 for almost a year, still pay in full every month.)... okay enough of a rant I'm just jelous you are all earning disney dollars

That is such an awesome deal!!! I got the same deal aroun this time last year. I booked my airfare for the trip I had coming up in Dec '08 and used it for everything that the 5x rewards entailed!!! I think I accumulated about 300 rewards points b/c of the 5x deal!!! That was a huge help in the saving for spending money department!!!

Check the postcard you received. I would be surprised if it is ANYTHING over.

mine was anything over $250....but that is still a big stretch for me to spend that a month. Especially with no big travel plans.

I dont know what you are trying to say. If you thought I meant any purchase over 500.00 that is not what I meant. It needs to be in dining, groceries, gas or airline purchases. That is how they usually are for me. I usually get at least two of these a year, sometimes they have included auto repairs and dental charges. I never carry a balance on the card and I have earned ALOT of Disney Dollars with these cards. Sorry if you didnt understand what I had posted or perhaps I wasnt clear. I guesse I thought the catagories had already been established earlier in the thread.

My mistake. I fell into the trap the very first time I received a card. Back then it was in fine print. I just didn't want you to be disappointed to find out later.

I received one for May and June...but they upped it to $500 from the $200 of previous offers. I don't really go grocery shopping and I don't dine out that often, so I only just hot the $500 in May (thanks to travel). But I didn't really benefit from it.

I've been receiving those 5X rewards postcards for well over a year now (on a quarterly basis). I've racked up over $600 dollars in rewards for my trip to Disney next month! It'll be my first time down in two years, so I plan on buying the 10-day park hopper with no expiration vs. an annual pass. Does that sound like the best option? I'll still have plenty of reward dollars left over for dining, etc. as well.

I have no idea how they actually track and separate the purchases that qualify (i.e. a purchase at Wal-Mart could be all groceries). I was enrolled in it last month and my total jumped almost $50 with that one payment. I don't keep track of what they do and just allow them to give me what they want.

I wish I could say the same, but my bill is always over $1K. The bill I just paid was for $3K. I need to stop this foolishness, but I pay it off on time regardless

You're likely to have these rewarded to you when using your Disney Visa or Chase card!

I use the heck out of this card as basically a debit card. I try and charge everything then pay it off every month. I have enrolled in the 5x rewards a couple times in the past. Its very helpful when AP renwal comes up!

I'm so jealous. I keep telling my DH we need to get this card. Our MC that my DH got 20 years ago (and has always paid off each month) has never given us any rewards at all. I convinced him to drop it but he is still dragging his feet on the Disney card. It would be great for us since we spend 1,200 to 1,500 a month at the grocery store (we never eat out)! I would love to get reward dollars from that to use on our trips to WDW!!!

They run alot of promotions on the card for signing up. Just watch for them, I got a free $25.00 Disney Gift Card. I have also seen a free $40.00 credit on the card balance. They run alot of Sign up promos.
