They also do Disney movies in the evening on the Poly beach.

I'm not sure if they used to be directly on the beach but now the movies are on the fake grass by the Great Ceremonial House :) I personally prefer watching the fireworks from the bridge overlooking the boat harbor/right outside 'Ohana because I think you can hear the music better and its not crowded. I have watched the fireworks from this spot at least 10 times :)

THE NEW AND IMPROVED (hopefully) PLAN: I grayed out what didn't change...

Day 1 - Arrival Day - MK - drop bags with bell services and head for MK in late morning. Back to the resort for exploration, swimming, and shopping at the AAFES for supplies. Grab dinner at the buffet (mediocre food but A eats for free, so I won't complain), then turn in for the night

Day 2 - HS and MK - Bon Voyage breakfast followed by a walk to HS. There isn't much here I think we'll like so we'll hit a couple things, I'll try to convince her to ride the new Toy Story roller coaster while she hysterically cries, then we'll both share a carrot cake cookie. Then back to the resort for swimming and nap before taking the monorail to MK for some fireworks over the castle.

Day 3 - Disney Springs and AK - starting the day with some pool time, then heading over to DS for pizza and bath bombs. After nap, we'll hit AK for the evening

Day 4 - Epcot - We can meet Daisy and Minnie on our way to the International Gateway where we'll exit the park in search of the No Way Jose (and maybe some actual food..... they serve food there too, right?). Then we'll come back into Epcot to check out the pavilions, meet some princesses, people watch, and enjoy F&W festival snacks.

Day 5 - MK - Fun at the Magic Kingdom. Then dinner at 'Ohana and maybe fireworks from the beach at the Poly. Or we could head into MK for them. We'll see.

Day 6 - No idea - Touring Plans is predicting this to be an EMH morning for MK, and if that's the case we'll head into MK to do anything A really enjoyed, and then probably head to Epcot for a late morning breakfast at Akershus and to repeat anything she wants or catch anything we missed. Or eat more snacks. I like snacks. Snacks are my thing. I'm hoping for lots of snacks. Then play the rest of the day by ear.

Day 7 - Departure Day - MK - Rope drop MK and be back to the resort and ready to leave around noon.

Is that more on the right track?

Are you set on Ohana for supper? I don’t know how picky of an eater A is, but there is nothing there that I would be able to convince my 2 year old to eat other than mayyybbeee bread haha. And I’m not sure if they do a separate kids menu. We REALLY enjoyed the breakfast there - it’s your standard all you can eat bacon and eggs and waffles and such (so if A is under 3... I think she still will be?.. then she can eat off your platter for free). And you get Mickey, Pluto, Lilo, and Stitch. The plan looks awesome though!!

She's actually turning three on Monday :cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry: My in laws are coming tonight so they'll be here for her party tomorrow. My little baby is now a preschooler!

I looked over the menu, and I think she'll eat a great deal of it. Or she might not. I've learned to go with the punches with her. Sometimes we'll serve something we don't think she'll eat and she'll devour it. Other times we'll serve something she LOVES and she won't touch it at all.

The things from 'Ohana I would expect she'd eat are: bread (obviously, LOL), pork dumplings, chicken wings (as long as I de-bone them for her), sweet and sour chicken skewer, the noodles, the broccoli from the stir fried veggies, and definitely the dessert. And if I'm wrong and she doesn't eat any of that, I'll have some pouches of peanut butter in my purse :)
They offer mac and cheese also for kids. The coconut races are fun too!

On my last trip I just started a Facebook Messenger message to myself. Whenever we reached a natural pause, I'd pop myself some short hand notes like "man on bus not a princess" or "THERE'S FREAKING DOLE WHIPS AT POP!!" so when I got home I had short notes to work from. My phone is always on me, so that was so much easier than paper and a pen.

I guess I'm just afraid that I'll be a letdown, as I'm not a great writer... I mean.. we have some great writers here who do fabulous trip reports! You, Tuvalu, Doc Disney... and MAX of course!

edited because I forgot Sheriffwoody, and Becca_, Longers and and and....

Maybe I need Max to goad me... I'm sort of scared reading all of yours that I won't have time for note taking, my memory will fail, and I will forget to take pictures.
Ok @Rista1313 I will let you in on the secret of Trip Reports (as per Max - because I really do not know if everyone else feels the same way)

1) I do not take a lot of notes
2) Take as many pics as you can
3) String the pics together in chronological order
4) Add comments from your notes/ memory or when in doubt just MSU (if you need help with the acronym just message me)

And the biggest secret of all??
Unless you have family members on the board or do a big WDW magic meetup.....

No one else from this board was on the trip with you
So there is zero way to screw it up because we can't call you on any of the "facts" that you tell us!!!

(just realized that everyone here will question all my TRs - past and present - might not want to post this one )

Just have fun with it - as long as you don't go overboard on text I will follow you to the moon and back

Max

P.S. the only really stressful part of TRs is the Spell Check Police (@Tuvalu )

Now that the list is all settled...... I'm taking requests!!

It's not a dryerlintfan PTR without lunch bag art, but the hardest part of doing lunch bag art is thinking of what to draw every morning before I've even had my coffee! So, feel free to request different characters and I'll start drawing them again next week!

Here are a few of the past lunch bags :)

A is for Ariel, B is for Belle, C is for Cheshire Cat....
Once you get past Z then..
Lather, Rinse, Repeat!

(How am i doing? - Do you still like my style??;);))

If you daughter doesn't like the food at Ohana they will offer her something else. When we were there in Nov my sons were not eating tons and the waiter asked "what can we bring the kids that they might enjoy more"? I think one of them got chicken fingers and the other a PBJ. They still loved the noodles, potstickers and bread.

OK.. Pre-Trip is up. Now that I know it's ok to make stuff up (cuz Max said!) it takes a lot of pressure off!
